I feel sorry for the peons in the Park Service. Some are assholes, but most are hard working, underemployed folk who love America and make it their life's work to share the history and scenery with everyone they see. They are getting the shaft, but they aren't responsible.
I have to disagree, Rose. If you stand in front of the WWII Memorial and prevent vets from visiting their memorial, you are a Nazi prick. There is no excuse. Taking orders didn't work at Nuremberg and it shouldn't work now.

Agreed. At some point people have to make a decision. Holding on to something and doing the wrong thing under orders, just because of fear of loosing benefits, is a sign of cowardice.

About time the NPS saw what the American People are about. Nothing like the rolling thunder coming down the road to get your attention. Let the NPS and plugs attempt to stop them from being on the Mall and attending the WWII and WWI monuments as well as the others.
It certainly worked with the Muslims last time. But I gotta wonder. How many Muslims were actually planning to go to their march, and decided not to go up against the bikers? We'll never know.

What's going to be funny is that if they bring in the National Guard, they will likely stand by and watch, the NPS tools will run for the hills, and Obama will throw another tantrum.
