One was the admission into trial of “prior bad acts” witnesses and Cosby’s 2005-2006 quaalude deposition. The appeal argued that the trial judge erred in allowing Cosby’s prior deposition about using quaaludes during consensual sexual encounters with women in the 1970s at trial.
The second point was a written agreement from previous Montgomery County prosecutor Bruce Castor not to criminally prosecute Cosby in the Constand case. Castor had testified that while he was district attorney, he promised Cosby he would not file criminal charges if the entertainer would testify in a civil lawsuit Constand filed against Cosby in 2005. Cosby testified during four days of depositions by Constand’s attorneys, and the civil lawsuit was settled for more than $3 million in 2006. Prosecutor Kevin R. Steele later brought criminal charges against Cosby in 2015 after succeeding Castor as the county’s district attorney.

I almost spit up my coffee today when I read that Bill Cosby is talking about re-starting his stand-up comedy act. The man is truly delusional if he thinks he can ever return to stand-up.

I see his TV wife is in trouble for tweeting something about a great wrong being corrected and cheering his release, whereupon all the women who have been raped in the world jumped on her case and said the university where she just got hired as a dean of some sort should fire her. Oops. Now she's backtracking and saying she has always had sympathy for victims of sexual assault. Uh huh, sure you have.
You can see how difficult it is to be a liberal. She assumed her blackness was the trump card and she could cheer Bill Cosby's release with full abandon. Certainly that used to be the case, black trumped everything. But times have changed. Other victim groups now outrank the black group. Women victims of sexual assault are now kicking her ass and her trump card turns out to be useless to save her. So confusing to be a liberal.
Being a conservative on the other hand is easy. You simply decide what is right and what is wrong and to hell with what all the “groups” think, and if somebody from a “group” complains about something you said, well, that’s considered validation.
Sounds to me like he's getting off on technicalities. One thing I've noticed about the English judicial systems, going back before this country was even founded, is that while they like to pretend they are the best in the world, the more money you have the better they work for you, just like in the worst judicial systems. Rich people always seem to find the technicalities that get them off scot free.
This is all a scam to take the attention away from Trump going to the border and making Kumswalla look bad.
