I am glad to see that the NYPD is investigating this as a "hate crime"-whereas the epidemic of black on white "knockout game" attacks is not investigated the same way.
Media is the same way.

My bullshit meter is ringing pretty loud on this one. Either way, I would like to see the cops get the people responsible....but I won't hold my breath on that.

One can make an argument about these actions being done unprovoked.
Now it is possible that this happened, I have my doubts though, but it is possible.
Therein lies the rub, any mention of members of the religion of peace are usually fundamentalist, while Jewish or Christians are usually considered orthodox. Unless their are Hasidic gangs forming, I would have to think this drunken dumbass let his alligator mouth overload his tadpole ass.

Fundamentalism is listed as a movement within the Protestant church in the early 1900's. A fundamentalist is one who is part of that movement. So maybe we shouldn't be calling Muslims fundamental at all.
The *vast* majority of so-called "hate crimes" are later proven to be fraudulent, this is just one more of those....

N, I don't agree this is justified. If this fellow himself never played "knockout" on anyone, he does not deserve what he received. If this incident is as he alleges, the people responsible should be arrested and tried, same as if the racial identities were reversed.
While this is true, if one group of people pushes another group of people long and hard enough, there WILL be a push back.
Just ask the Buddhist who have started pushing back against the muslims.

So basically, the Jews have behaved themselves and worked and raised their families to have respect for others and to worship God, so the blacks in the neigihborhood are pissy because they didn't do the same? What a crock. Besides, blaming the Jews for others misery is Nazi-ism 101. Get real! I think the Hasidics are a little out there, but as I said earlier, they are rarely violent. THey are students and readers, not powerlifters and mixed martial arts fighters. If they were, they wouldn't get beat up in school so much!

The reason why I doubt this is because it just seems a little too convenient especially since the Knockout Game has become the Knockout a Jew and the media hasn't really talked about that. It is possible that someone is trying to make a point that "they do it too". It is possible that there is a payback aspect here, however unlike the mountain of evidence in the other situation this one so far doesn't seem to have a lot of evidence behind it so I want to know more.
I don't think that though Jews (orthodox or not) and Whites should start retaliating for the actions of what is in reality the few and the young and stupid in some metropolitan areas. That will just escalate the situation and no one wants that.
The situation with the Buddhists defending themselves and standing up for their religious freedom is in my opinion, entirely different. With that said there are some Buddhists sects in some countries that persecute Christians just because they are Christians so not all Buddhists are about peace at all costs or peace until someone gets on my last nerve either.
I totally agree. That if he is innocent and this did happen he doesn't deserve it regardless of others have done it. Then those that attacked them should be sent away like anyone else would be.
However, there has been MANY supposed anti-gay attacks or discriminations (like the waitress that claim she was stiffed out of a tip and the people wrote her an anti-gay message) and they invariably turn out to be wrong.
So I am going to need more information and more evidence. At least with the knockout game we can see the video and know what is going on.

Pardon me if I reserve judgement on this one.
1. By looking at the victim of something/someone, I can't tell he's gay. He says he was alone, meaning he wasn't walking hand-in-hand with a partner.
2. Why "ultra"-Orthodox? Is this a judgement passed by the media? Or is this what the vic said? Or were they wearing "I (heart) Ultra-Orthodox Judaism" hoodies?
Either something happened here in addition to the attack that we're not being told about, or someone else attacked him.
Hasidic Jews wear a "uniform of sorts, and a particular haircut, beard etc. But they are not generally violent. Something stinks about this story. My suspcion is he got beat up by a one night stand, and is trying to put the blame elsewhere, or maybe he appriached the worng guy after leaving the party. If he was beaten by 12 men, as he claims, he would have more than a black eye and bruises and scrapes. He would have internal organ damage, massive internal bleeding and many broken bones. Yep, stinks to high heaven. I also notice the MTA driver referred to the victim by his first name. Are they connected in some way>
I'm reserving judgment as well, particularly because Orthodox/Hasidic Jews aren't known for such actions when not provoked.
