Blagojevich sentenced to 14 yrs, apologizes for corruption but claims he thought what he did was “permissable.” Blago does have a point. To paraphrase the old maxim, when in Chicago, do as the Chicagoans do. Ain’t that right Barry?

Wait. He is a lwyer who didn't know the law? Did anyone really buy this? I suspect he may have some unpleasant visitors while in prison, for however long.
Here's the deal, "Dear Leader" told Blago that if he keeps his mouth shut, he will be out in a little more then a year. The 14 year sentence is to show Blago what happens if he even thinks about opening his mouth.
Cross the "O machine" get jail time. Cross the Clinton machine, let's just say he's lucky he wasn't Guv of NY.
Wow. 14 years. And to think at one point early in his first term there was talk of this rat bastard one day making it to the White House. I mean, can you imagine? A crooked politician brought up the ranks of the Chicago Corrupticrat machine as President? What's that you say? Oh wait.....that's right.
Permissible, and legal. Two different concepts, especially when you're in Chicago. Old habits die hard.
