The commercial with the 0 yelling about how they have to do the jobs the voters sent them there to do is rather less than logical, since the voters ousted his majority from congress and weakened his looter party in the senate. So, the people that don't have the luxury of waiting 14 months as he puts it are more than willing to go without, yet he doesn't want that message to be clear. We do not want to give him the money to give half billion dollar bonuses to 900 more of his cronies.

Right now BHO is out "selling" the jobs bill. It is not a jobs bill, we know that. He knows that too so he is out there desperately urging passage (if you love me, then you'll pass it) and playing on emotions rather than the merits of the bill. When Debbie Wasserman Schultz explains the loss in NY 9 as being a tough place for Democrats to win, the truth again suffers but no-one is fooled. The Professional Left, in this case, is delusional as well as dishonest. The ends justify the means with this crowd.
I should add that both sides are wrong simply by using the term "jobs bill". The nomenclature; therefore, the premise is incorrect. Since the Democrats will never do it, the GOP needs to talk about a productivity bill. By reducing the amount of unused economic capacity the jobs follow. For example, if the "leadership" were really interested in putting people to work then they would create a tax, regulatory, and financial environment that increases productivity. If we encourage jobs simply for jobs' sake, then we become the USSR and its definition of full employment.
A fair is where you go to ride the rides, eat cotton candy and step in monkey poop. There's nothing "Fair" about politics today, especially when some lefty goes sideways and can not argue with you over facts but calls you an asshole and stomps off....But then having a debate with a liberal may be unfair, cause we are having a battle of wits with an unarmed person. :)
I had an argument about economics with an acquaintance at a party recently. I put forth my experienced and obviously correct view about government versus private business having built two engineering companies. She put forth her indoctrinated public union school teacher view. I used my favorite line of leftist logic, 1+1=POTATO. If a person cannot get into reality enough to just merely be wrong and think 1+1=3 or 5 or 7, or any integer, we have a platform of common experience to debate about. If you think it equals POTATO then there is simply no point as we have no common ground.
