    • You should be used to it by now, the Bengirls usually snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, on the rare occasion that they actually played well enough to look like they might win. At least you're not a Browns fan.

  • Way ot, but I had to do it; will a Cinci team (college or pro) finally break the "Prime Time" curse of the last decade +? My gut tells me I'll be throwing somewhat empties @ the tv before halftime, miss the "halftime highlights" and have to check the final score of Monday Night Football with my a.m. |_|o.

    But a guy can hope, can't he? (at least I'm not a TB Buc fan *snork* I owed you that one, so hush→Mom always liked you better) :P

    • Rooting for the Bengals has to be better than rooting for the Lions. Even when they win they're stupid. Yesterday the starting center stomped on a guy's angle while he was lying on the ground, which means he'll probably be suspended for the final game, and some moron intercepted the Bears' last gasp 4th down pass instead of knocking it down, thereby costing the Lions about 30 yards. Why? You didn't know it was 4th down? Really?

    I, as neither one, can not understand what these programs appeal to or what they teach. Does anyone have a legitimate idea?

    And also (OT) for my own curiosity, Kimmy, what did you study in college? Something smart I assume.

      • Probably just innocent curiosity. He did make the assumption that it was a highly intelligent course of study, probably based on your posts here.

          • I didn't study African studies nor women's issues but then again those weren't part of my college's curriculum. I don't believe I would have taken them if they were available even at that age when I was more liberal than now. I appreciate the compliment.

    • in one sentence, from what i have gleaned in overviews of these types of classes, which are somewhat included in more mainstream courses - for i guess about a decade, or so - is that they're about the hyper-intricate details of every hurtful and hateful and for the most part illegal (including legislated but seen as illegal thrown in as well, all of it seen as equally divisive) activities of the imperial Anglo modern industrial civilization which enslaves everyone for its highly derivative financial successes - and most importantly, ownership of everything on planet earth, not to mention its destruction of the air, land, and sea, all while holding vast amounts of humans in lower capacities of health and intelligence for this purpose and killing them indiscriminately.

      the explanation for this kind of education is to bring knowledge of these crimes to those who could and apparently should overthrow everyone involved, directly and indirectly, except those in the employ of all this anti-warmongering war-mongering.

      as always, the PTB is trying to get what they want using the power of the people for free, as they did in Maoist China and Soviet Russia, and anywhere else that toppled its masters and stole all their money for the new regime... because it's the right thing to do and this time it's going to work and the last one wasn't so great and it's the jews' fault (tho so many of them are always involved) and all the other reasons.

      in my book, that's called insanity in a country that has given soooo much to everyone, regardless if they've personally given anything first.

      • He's probably up voting himself. This is what liberal plants do, post hateful comments to make conservative sites look bad, then login under different IDs to up vote. A while back there was an expose on a San Francisco operation funded by wealthy liberals that did exactly what you're talking about. They did it full time, 24/7/365, hiring people through Craig's List to report to work 8 hours a day at an innocuous-looking warehouse full of computers where they would patrol the Internet, making comments that either debated conservatives or pretended to be ignorant hateful conservatives. It's the modern way of doing propaganda. The story I read was written by a former employee, hired through Craig's List, who grew so disgusted with what he was doing that he quit and wrote an expose.

        I have no doubt that hateful racist people exist. I'm not totally naïve. But I don't think they exist in the numbers we see on the Internet in comment sections. I am a white conservative male who tends to hang out with the same, and I can go years without hearing even a slightly racist comment uttered in my presence. I can't remember the last time I heard one. I have been in many situations where the subject of Al Sharpton or Barack Obama or Eric Holder comes up and people are disgusted by them, but they always express their disgust without getting racist. Yet when I look in the comment section of just about any Yahoo news article, it's dominated by racist comments expressing MY point of view! WTF? Where are all those people living because I never meet them.

            Nobody could figure out why... I have to admit it was me and my minions (daughters under duress) we spent a day on all our devices (phones, school, library) and whenever we caught a free wi-fi (different ISP) we hit the link. Think we had you up to 23 or something like that?
