  I doubt these constitutionalists would be dumb enough to attack armored cars with just rifles, do you? I expect that someone who have been involved in years of fighting in Iraq would know much better than I do.

  The serious Constitutionalist, knowing there is no salvation to be found in victimhood*, would read about the civil war in the former Russian empire, partisan warfare in Serbia, Poland and Belarus, the yugoslave civil war and more recent conflicts.

  • Judging from what I have seen at the local gun club machine gun shoot, I think that these armored vehicles won't he too much of a problem.
    There are people out there with grenade launchers on their rifles, and I saw one guy with a Mini Gun mounted on his Humvee.

  • OK, they're trying to make it illegal for civilians to own body armor that will stop a rifle bullet. What happens if you wear 2 sets of Type IIIA, which isn't prohibited to own?

  • I bet they wouldn't stand up very long to Thermite, and Thermite is quite easy to make. Roughly equal parts of powdered aluminum and powdered iron oxide, aka rust. What you get when you let a steel wool pad rust out gives you some pretty fine grained stuff which can be ground down if needed, and a polishing wheel can bring aluminum tubing down to a nice powder.

    Or, both are available separately on Ebay.

    The only problem is that Thermite needs an intensely hot source for ignition, something like magnesium ribbon, which itself is lit easily with a match.
