The provision would quadruple the number of H-2B visas for foreign “guest workers.” That means it would allow more than a quarter of a million foreign workers to enter the United States each year and work in industries including construction, hotel-motel services, truck driving, food processing, forestry and other fields that do not require a college education.

In a weird way I have to acknowledge the Progressives' acumen for creating new and legal ways to amass slaves...
Millions of Americans can't find jobs, millions more are underemployed working part time at several jobs, and the assholes in Washingtoon want to allow and bunch of uneducated foreigners into the country to work? Add the millions of illegal aliens into the mix and it is no wonder so many Americans are hurting.
Trump is right about immigration but he does not take it far enough. Not only should all Muslims be stopped, all immigration from anywhere should be stopped. No work visas, nothing until our borders are secure. No student visas until everyone who has overstayed their welcome is sent home. No immigration until the illegals are rounded up and deported along with all the illegals in our prisons.
Only after Americans are working again can we allow immigrants to come to our country. Even then only those who can be properly vetted should be allowed to come here, especially if they are Muslim. It is way past the time for our elected elite to start doing their job, protecting Americans and our way of life.
i'm not so sure that everyone who complains about not having enough work really means it. they want to hang out in college for 1/2 dozen years and then work in an open romper-room environment with free coffee dispensers, their earplugs in ear and gadgets on hand, and have skateboard ramps replace elevators. this is how the teens and 20-somethings see work, and architects are actually refitting buildings like that to suit them.
the young person applying for a CDL job is rare b/c few young people can actually pass a piss test, esp at random, nor do they want a job that requires so much personal liability. or attention away from a gadget.

not to change the subject, but after looking at a local FB group's members profile pics (several hundred) for "The Bern" - i have noticed they comprise of almost entirely white people, young and old. i saw 2 profiles who were African American and one who had a Latino surname. it's hilarious, really.
