Good for Texas, its about time another state stood up to what in the hell is going on the southern border.
Now, if New Mexico and Arizona would follow suit, Kalifornia, which is the only border state that will outright refuse to do so, will be the only state where illegals can cross, and maybe then the fed will agree to secure that border, if forced to by the House.

This sets up a potentially interesting situation where Texas law enforcement could come face to face with federal "troops" if DOJ or DHS decide to force Texas to back off.
Knowing what I know, I have serious doubts about the feds being able to confront anyone, unless its an unarmed rancher or they shoot from behind a tree at the women.
I hope so. Cannot imagine the shit storm if a state versus federal forces stand off got hot.

Feel sorry for the Texas DPS troopers. These guys are top notch law enforcement professionals. I'm guessing the liberal media will be spinning them as a bunch of cowboy hat wearing racist rednecks in an attempt to trivialize what Perry is trying to do. They already have him labeled as governor ni**erhead and will no doubt put on the full court press to make this action look as evil as possible. We don't hate Latinos or other legal immigrant groups here in Texas, we just want to secure our border to keep the drug trade and violence on the other side.
