• I am glad they "retracted" however I find it fascinating tha they went with racial discrimination instead of religious discrimination. As PsychoDad implies, if they had gone with religious discrimination then it is very easy to point out to the obvious religious discrimination going on towards many Christians (especially Christian parents who want to home school and Christians who don't want to participate in "gay marriage") in England.

  For me it is very important to never underestimate liberals/progressives no matter what country they hail from. They always find ways to control the language and in doing so controlling the "optics" and the dialogue.

  Yay for the parents, but they need to be on the alert. I saw a video on youtube of a little English girl and by little I mean like 13 or 14 that was talking to a reporter about the Muslim MEN 17 and beyond who would stop her and tell her that she is a whore and that they will rape her... This is happening in other countries and there HAVE been rapes of women and girls by Muslim animals. All these things you don't hear about because I am sure that it would be "racist". Disgusting.

  We are loosing this war people. We need to get control of the language, the dialogue and the looks of things if we want to make real changes in this world.

  Reminds me of the private event we worked on a huge ranch, and they had a Vietnamese pot-bellied pig strolling the grounds, along with all the other exotic animals. He was such a sweetheart, I named him Mohammed.

  • So they can't make a real apology (ie, "I'm sorry if you're so stupid you were offended by our enlightened vision of the future") and admit they were wrong on that side of the pond either.

    • Don't forget the Brits are merely subjects of the realm. They are used to being kicked around by everyone from earls to bureaucrats and with rare exception seem to take it.

      • Well , that's a bit unfair. Don't forget that American freedoms are based on what the Founding Fathers expected, one of their chief calls to action being that colonists were being deprived of their "traditional English liberties." (Search it up, lots of references.)

        Careful reading of the Declaration of Independence also shows that a lot of what they were specifically objecting to were infringements on what they ordinarily expected under the law.

        Wasn't there something here about the Magna Carta a day or two ago? That established that not even the king was above the law of the land, and although it not specifically cited in the Declaration, the idea that the king is as subject to law as any man is also raised.

        Don't forget too that our own Bill of Rights is based substantially off of the English Bill of Rights of 1689. Some bits of ours are almost verbatim! And many of the complaints it cites are also very reminiscent of our Declaration. (http://chnm.gmu.edu/revolution/d/267/)

        Look at these charges laid against James II:

        1. By assuming and exercising a power of dispensing with and suspending of laws, and the execution of laws, without consent of Parliament.

        By raising and keeping a standing army within this kingdom in time of peace, without consent of Parliament, and quartering soldiers contrary to law.
        10. And excessive bail hath been required of persons committed in criminal cases, to elude the benefit of the laws made for the liberty of the subjects.

        11. And excessive fines have been imposed.

        12. And illegal and cruel punishments inflicted.

        Sound familiar?

        5. That it is the right of the subjects to petition the King, and all commitments and prosecutions for such petitioning are illegal.

        6. That the raising or keeping a standing army within the kingdom in time of peace, unless it be with consent of Parliament, is against law.

        Finally, saying popular over here which originated over there, was originally "An Englishman's home is his castle."

        Yes, I'll quickly concede it's gone downhill quite a ways since the end of WW2, and accelerating since the 70s, but your assertion is unfair and inaccurate.

        • I'm aware that both my post is a bit unfair and of the Magna Carta. I also am aware that English common law is the foundation of our own legal system. That being said, their ideals never came close to reality and they remain subjects of the realm, IMO. The only difference is the managers of the realm have changed from the crown to an ever more intrusive central government.

  • That retraction shouldn't be used to justify burying the incident... the school has tipped off its willingness to go that PC route and has shown that it needs the administrative equivalent of an enema.

• More left wing bully behavior. The kid's parents should shove this BS right back into the face of the school office bullies. For example, hold all of their kids from the trip, then get a copy of this discrimination note, have it copied on T-shirts, and send all the kids every day to school with these proud uniforms.

• You should always know your enemy. In this, I suppose it's an okay thing. However, to demand, to force those to witness a watered-down version of what Islam truly is...just wrong. They should show the hate, violence, terror that islam truly is. Show them what they need to fear, and why it should be destroyed.

• Actually, this is a good idea.

  The children of the UK should be trained in how to understand the beliefs of their conquerors.

  It will make the transition to dhimmitude smoother.
