Britons watching TV in the toilet. Well, the TV is not in the toilet, they’re watching TV on their smartphones (whoever said “fartphones”, report to detention) while sitting on the toilet. Why are they called “smartphones” when they’re used for such dumb things?

Listen everybody: people make lots of money designing apps for these things. How about we put our heads together and create a smartphone toilet paper app?
We could even pair it with one of those flashlight apps so people can see what they're do-dooing. 40% profit share to me for being the idea guy.
Probably watching their smart phones because their Tele is taxed.
Smartphones are one of Corporate Greed's tools to keep us distracted and dumbed down.
One is only distracted and dumb if one wishes to be. Neither Apple nor Samsung nor Research in Motion comes to anyone's house and puts a gun to anyone's head and makes them buy a smartphone. Empirical proof of this: I don't have one.
Case in point
I don't have a smartphone.
Because the phone would be smarter than you. Yeah, I get that.
could have fooled me
"He refuses to own anything smarter than him."
Explain the Cheetos.
Food doesn't count.
He has a dumbphone, which is fitting.
He refuses to own anything smarter than him. That's why he asked his mommy to have a dumbwaiter installed to get his meals in the basement
I hear most of them play poker while on the throne because they always get a royal flush.
They're Brits so they eat lots of pudding. It's more likely they sit there groaning about their full house.
How fitting. Since there hasn't been anything produced for British TV that was worth watching since Monty Python and Benny Hill, this makes total sense to me.
I like Downton Abby, Luther, and Doctor Who. Torcwood was also quite entertaining.
Another vote for Downton Abbey. That may be the best thing producedon eithre side of the pond in years!
I liked black adder, are you being served, and a few others.
