I find it astonishing that a man as rich as Mr. Springsteen can’t afford a rhyming dictionary, or even think of, say, Oklahama as rhyming with Obama.
Stick in on stage in a diorama
(it’s made overseas, in Yokohama);
you’d hear more sense from a mangy llama,
than singing “forward and away we go!”
As many as dwell in Oklahama
or trust the words of the Dalai Lama
(when he giggles stuff about his karma),
are singing “forward and away we go”.
But why seek words to rhyme with Obama
as we wish he’d end this sorry drama?
Who’d give a rat’s that “he got Osama”

I only know a few Springsteen songs... probably the exact same ones that everybody else knows... and I honestly don't know a lot about the guy. But as I watched this video, the only thing that popped up in my head was "Good Lord... this guy is a washed-out, talent-less hack!" I think that, in response to this moving artistic support, maybe Romney and Ryan could talk Kid Rock into writing a campaign song. Good idea, right? Yeah? D'ya think? Yeah... you like it.
