CA bill would dictate to churches what can be preached about LGBTQ ideology. Calling it sin is ‘harmful.’ The ‘brain trust’ in Sacramento just love the separation of church and state until it suits their ideology.

It's really sad to see CA being destroyed. Democratic leadership has pounded their doctrines into all aspects of life, and it is killing the state. I'm from the midlands, but of course I've been to CA and I love it there. It has beauty that cannot be found elsewhere. There are lush, fruitful valleys, deserts, majestic mountains, a coastline that is next to none and it is all going to hell thanks to leftist, progressive, communist, dictatorial control.

It pretty clear what can and can’t be done.
Notice, however, that a state is free to do anything it wants with regard to establishing or regulating religion. If California wants to pass legislation saying the only church allowed in the state is the Blessed Tabernacle of Anal Intrusion, they can do it.
They may try. However, federal law supersedes state laws. The US Constitution for those of us who believe in the rule of law is the law of the land. Will this piece of bull shit legislation dictate what can be preached in a mosque or synagogue?
Good point about a mosque or synagogue. Christians churches, for the most part, side step those issues already. Muslims will not.
It would be an interesting case, legally. The Constitution merely says that Congress may make no law. Long after the founding of the nation and the ratification of the Constitution, we still had states with official state religions. Everybody back then pretty much accepted that states could do what they wanted. But you're right, lately the federal courts have been ignoring the Constitution and enforcing federal rights on issues within the states.
THIS is where Separation of Church and state they like to blare comes in. They tried this with Christian crisis pregnancy centers, too. And lost at SCOTUS. Commiefornia will lose this, too.
Yup, Sacramento is more concerned with proper use of buttplugs and where and when you can wave you penis rather than the homeless, shit on the streets, taxes, and a million other things...There is going to be a revolution, too much dictatorship, too little freedoms, too many taxes, too little money, and the left is bringing it on and it will be bloody and the left will be beaten so badly they may never come back again...They have consolidated power and that is nearly the end of any republic...I hope It happens soon...

We get closer and closer to the situation in Sodom and Gomorrah as described in the Bible. When I read about S & G as a kid I thought the story sounded kind of absurd--what kind of civilization would MAKE strangers engage in homosexual sex?--but here we are enforcing the homosexual agenda with the power of governmental legislation, right here in America. In how many states now is it illegal to counsel a person with homosexual urges who wants to fight those urges? Name one other agenda, political, religious, or other, that ENFORCES its belief system at the point of a gun? Only the homosexual agenda gets that kind of enforcement. Anybody with any doubt about the homosexual agenda being totally demonic, needs no other evidence than that. They are doing their best to FORCE you into compliance.
