  • I think we must not lose sight of the fact that this is a 14 year old kid. And while some 14 years olds are clearly capable of some pretty terrible things I don't think this one is capable of wiping his own ass without a whole lot of help. Me personally I think he was just a lonely, ignored little guy that had the misfortune of wanting to be special without having the talent for it. I think the hoax, from his perspective, was just an immature plea for attention without a whole lot of thought beyond that. As for his dad, I am certain that guy guided him into this and sat back just waiting to exploit it. I blame him. But I don't think he is much of a terrorist either, I think he is just some guy looking to hit the leftist lottery. And clearly he has.

    Given all this I am going to hope for something different for this kid. I hope he grows up a whole lot in just a little amount of time. I hope he realizes what a tool his dad is and I hope he becomes a responsible, productive member of society. But given how he has now been taught that his religion gives him special privileges and allows him to advance beyond what he could otherwise earn I don't know that there is much chance of my hope coming true.

      I disagree. Check the family history since arriving in the US. The whole damn bunch have been shit stirrers from the day of arrival. This "kid" did exactly as daddy instructed him to do.
