I was pretty close to picking up an SR9 a little while back. Then I came across a great deal on a CZ85. Sole complaint is it's not made in the US, but the ergonomics are great and she runs like a champ.

You are right. The Mark series of .22s are among the best ever auto pistols. Ruger revolvers are unbeatable, they are also unbreakable.
And let's not forget the die-hard 10/22. I have 2 of them, both fun and very accurate for semi-autos. One has a bull barell w/overmolded Hogue stock and 3-9 Bushnell optic that shoots dime size groups at 50 yards. Lots o' fun to play with.
I also have a Ruger Mini-14....Not a bad varmint gun at all, and never a problem with it.
I love my Mini.

What a maroon. I'm not a big fan of Ruger pistols, but their revolvers are built like tanks. That pistol is probably a $350-400 weapon. I think I need a new Vaquero in .357 mag. Now there's a nice gun.
