Absolutely. Of course by then those that didn't believe in Him through Faith before He walks on Earth again, will have a hard time getting into His good graces. They WILL believe, but it will be too little too late. Unless the Lord's mercy extends itself somehow, which in my opinion is fine if He so chooses to do that. I am just not taking a chance and besides I actually do love the Lord. He is awesome and I would rather get on His side now.

On March 4, 1921, President Woodrow Wilson relinquished the office of the presidency to Ohio Senator Warren G. Harding. The state of the union was poor. "With the exception of Lincoln, probably no president in our national history has taken office with as pressing a burden of unresolved questions." Those were the words of the Nation of February 1921. The national economy was in the depths of a depression with an unemployment rate of 20% after a runaway inflation.On April 12,1921, President Harding went before a contentious Congress and presented his program for economic recovery which he called "A Return to Normalcy". Harding's normalcy program consisted of the following measures.1) A call for a national budget program (which was vetoed by his predecessor).
2) National debt reduction
3) Tax reduction
4) An emergency tariff to protect American industry and farm commodities.
5) Farm relief legislation (farm bankruptcies were up 20% from 1914).
6) Immigration restrictions to protect American jobs.President Harding pushed hard for his program and got it passed by Congress in 1921. By late 1922, the economy began to turn around. Harding did not live to see it, but his normalcy program proved to be the foundation that Coolidge prosperity was built on. Harding's successor, Calvin Coolidge had the wisdom to stay the course and build on Harding's program. The American people were the beneficiaries of the unprecedented prosperity of the 1920's. Unemployment was pared from its high in 1921 of 20% to an average of 3.3% for the remainder of the decade. The misery index which is a combination of unemployment and inflation had its sharpest decline in U.S. history under President Harding. The Gross National Product averaged 7% from 1924 to 1929. Wages, profits, and productivity all made substantial gains during the 1920's. Harding slashed federal spending by two billion from Wilson's last year and Coolidge maintained that spending level of 3.3 billion per year for the rest of the decade. The Harding-Coolidge tax cuts produced increased revenue that went to cut the national debt left by Wilson by one-third.The 1920's saw the tax burden of middle Americans decrease while most lower income Americans were relieved of their tax burden altogether. By 1930, their was a sharp increase in the number of Americans who could afford what were then middle class luxuries such as ranges, ice boxes, radios, vacuum cleaners and other household appliances. There was even an increase in the amount of time Americans found for recreation and entertainment.

Nearly 30 million citizens of Soviet Russia faced starvation and it was the American people who answered the plea for help and saved countless lives.Many scholars and historians blame the Harding-Coolidge economic program for the stock market crash of 1929 as well as the great depression. The stock market crash of 1929 was not the calamity Americans have been made to believe. There were no major business or bank failures resulting from the crash. The crash of 1929 occurred in October and by December of that year the economy was once again calm and remained so for the next six months. The depression did not occur because of the stock market crash. There were several errors on the part of policy makers that plunged our economy into a deep depression. The inaction on behalf of President Hoover, New York Governor Franklin D. Roosevelt, and the Federal Reserve Board to curb over-speculation proved very unwise. The Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act of 1930 which President Hoover supported and signed into law helped to paralyze global commerce. The huge tax increases signed into law by Presidents Herbert Hoover and Franklin D. Roosevelt retarded economic growth, ballooned the national debt, and sunk the nation deeper into the great depression. If Presidents Hoover and Roosevelt had moved to curb over-speculation and otherwise continued the economic policies of Harding and Coolidge, the nation may have been able to have avoided the great depression. Most certainly, the depression would not have been as deep and prolonged as it was.Despite what our historical elite have professed to us, the economic policies promoted by Harding and Coolidge during the 1920's created a level of prosperity our nation would not see again until the 1980's. It is long overdue for Harding and Coolidge to receive the acclaim they deserve for rescuing America from economic depression and returning it back to normalcy.

Everybody gets to have their own opinion but nobody gets to have their own facts. You'll find if you check that the depression happened before Coolidge was elected. He addressed it and his actions were effective. You'll find that Wilson and his sweetheart babydoll the federal reserve were actually responsible for the stock market crash on 1929. This crash, while terrible, was not so big a deal as the heads have been teaching. See, with all this history to rewrite, they can make people believe anything!

Harding was one of my favorite presidents. While I wouldn't give a tinker's damn for some of the corruptocrats in his administration, he presided over a lot of economic and social reforms, dragging the US away from the socialist disaster Wilson had tried to implement.

Warren I am curious... which part don't you agree with? I would like to hear your interpretation. G-d is merciful so I don't see the point of living in an increasingly wicked planet during the Millennial Age. If it is the Millennial Age does it make sense that believers in Christ are allowed to live IN the planet ALONGSIDE increasingly wicked and disgusting people? Wouldn't that be awful?
ALL eschatological books from Isaiah, Jeremiah, Zechariah all the way to Revelation speak of the same theme, the wicked are going to auto destruct (lead to their destruction by the hand of G-d) and before that happens the believers are told to leave the place of ultimate destruction. If the whole planet is the place of ultimate destruction, then it makes sense we leave the Planet or else we are kept in a bubble within the Planet inaccessible by the rest of the world (and protected from the destructions upon the rest... kind of like the plagues not touching the region where the Jewish slaves lived in Egypt). The same theme has been through the entire Bible: Jews leaving the oppression of Egypt wander through the desert for 40 years living in the actual presence of G-d (tabernacle, cloud and fire) THEN going into the Promised Land and of course before that Sodom and Gomorrah: when no good people were found except for Lot and therefore he was escorted out before the place was destroyed.
Overall I placed to possible options of the Millennial Age which I really don't care which one or if any other scenerio happens because it all ends the same way Jesus is King and takes over the governments of the world. That is the only part that I care about. There are SO much possibilities on how to get to the final end game => G-d Himself being the Temple, Jesus is King, the Planet is made new, but in the end it is the end game that I care about the most, how we get there is secondary.
As for people coming in here and having an attitude about our conversation, whatever it won't be the first nor the last, but at least this site seems very respectful of it something you wouldn't readily find in other sites so that is good.
Americans need to remember that the Office of the President was not so the person in the office could be idolized, bowed down to, etc. They had had enough of that in Europe with the Royalty. That is also why the Houses of Congress were set up for a rotation schedule-they did not plan on lifetime jobs-too much like the House of Lords, where you got a seat just because, and held it for life. In theory, our government works for us. But we have demanded instead that the government take care of us-not one of its consitutional mandates. Private groups, temles, churches (yes, and mosques) should be providing support for the needy. But no one wants to look at the needy, so we laid it at the governments feet. We are suffering the consequences of our own behaviour.

How are you gonna sit there and say something like "Calvin is cool!" You need to go into depth with these things. I know it's just an opinion but there has to be some reasoning behind it, and not just because everyone else agrees with it.
OK he is not necessarily the most exciting President, but it is good to remember that this country wasn't run by idiots all the time.

I think the ultimate President would be Jesus Christ. It really would take an engineered human being to truly be the ultimate President that doesn't suck in any way and does the right thing 100% of the time.
Thing is, if Jesus were in charge (Yah I'm a Christian btw so I do believe it'll happen) it would be more of a...dictatorship maybe? Definitely wouldn't be a democracy. You wouldn't find Christ caving in to people "Just for popular support." Someone that died for the sins of the human race really woudln't have to worry about "you scratch my back I'll Scratch yours."
I think all mortal presidents are fallible though. Even Regean, as good a president as he was, did some iffy things. That is why we, as the people, need to keep the government in line. The government isn't over us, we are over *it.* That is an idea that seems to be neglected in today's political race... One that Calvin Coolidge, boring or no, seemed to remember.
That is why I mentioned that the ultimate President apart from Christ, would be an engineered one that made no mistakes and did the right thing all the time, etc. Impossible. You are right, it is important for the people to be on top if not, human leaders can mess up and bad. Yes Coolidge was not very exciting but he did have the right mind about things.
Once Jesus takes His rightful place as Ruler the government "upon His shoulders" will be a Kingdom or better yet an Empire. In this case though, it will be Holy Empire/Kingdom. The people He will ultimately rule over ALL want Him as King and Emperor. He will not MAKE us serve Him, nor will He make those that DO NOT want to serve Him, serve Him. They will be separated from His Presence because if He were to make them serve Him against their wills it would be an autocratic dictatorship.
Even though He is in control of all things and people, in the end His ultimate Empire will not consist of the people that do not want Him, so in many ways it started as as democracy (the choice of the people) ending in a Holy Empire where the people are more than happy to serve such a Ruler without question. He doesn't bend to the will of the people, it is the people that bend to His Will, but again it was a choice made by the people. I think that is the major difference between a Kingdom or any government on Earth for that matter and His Kingdom.

well i mention democracy because it is an individual choice that a person makes to worship Jesus or not. Those that want to be part of His Kingdom will be part of His Kingdom. Those that don't, won't. It is as simple as that. So those that chose Christ as Ruler get Christ as Ruler, those that do not want Christ as Ruler are not part of His Kingdom. I just dont know what other word to use, but in the end it does end as an Empire anyway, but overall vastly different from any on Earth as everyone in the Holy Empire will be very happy with their Ruler. I couldn't use republic because obviously the masses vote for a rep, and then the rep votes in behalf of the masses whereas sometimes the masses are happy or unhappy with the vote. That is why no matter what no government on Earth will truly be perfect. It just so happen that democratic republicanism or republic democratic government just happens to work best in comparison to all other forms of goverment.
I am not sure what you mean. The order of things are tricky for sure however, once Christ final intervention in human history is done there would be no one to defy His reign. All those that would will be judged and set apart from His Kingdom. We will move from human history to a spiritual history. Even though with incorruptible bodies we will move on from being mere humans if you know what I mean. We won't be angels just something else... I would even dare say superhuman really.
There is going to be a time period between the coming of Christ and the final judgement, which will be about 1000 years.
That is the time I am speaking about. Christ will be the ruler, but there will still be some hinky stuff going on, even without the influence of Satan.
Humans being what they are...
Oh okay that is the Millennial Age where the believers are with Christ in His Kingdom in heaven. Our location will be in Heaven not on Earth. Satan is bound on Earth during that time frame. In Heaven we are being assigned our duties, we are at the table of the Lord, we are being married to Him, we are having fun it is all good. The books are being opened and judgement is being passed on those that unfortunately (for them) did not make it for the First Resurrection. The Millennial Age is after the First Resurrection.
Now two possible things are happening in the Earth, which in truth I do not care about, because I really could care less what is happening on Earth on that period of time. Call me selfish, but whatever my concentration is elsewhere. So during Millennium:
1. The wicked are killed. Satan is bound on Earth. It cannot leave, it cannot possess anyone, it is desolate. It is angry because it knows that G-d was right all along now. This first thing leads to the Millennial time ending and Jesus being ready to redeem the ACTUAL Planet so it can be habitated by His people again. Cleansing the Planet as it were. So the wicked are revived 2nd Resurrection, Satan is now self-deceiving thinking that it has now another possibility to overtake the Kingdom of G-d, the wicked are easily deceived and perhaps even angry at G-d for being slain and not being taken up. So the world comes back to life as it were, where armies are being made in order to fight the Lord. The Lord comes down to Earth with the New Jerusalem with all of us in it ready to habitate the world again, the masses of idiots come to make fight with us and the Lord along with Satan. At that point in time having make judgements on Earth already, every person that approaches the city are reminded of the reasons they are were they are and they are quickly (or slowly) penalized, they bow down to G-d/Christ not willingly or out of devotion, but out of certainty now that they are before Him and in knowledge of who He is. They are sent to Hell or destroyed completely after judgement... (is another diverging factor here), Satan is bound along with the false prophet and the antichrist and sent to Hell where it is tormented and so on...
2. The world goes on. Satan is not allowed to leave the Planet still because even though it sees that the Holy Ones have gone to a better pasture and it angers it, it cannot be allowed to torment the Lord's people who are now in Heaven. If it were allowed to leave, it would want to rage war in Heaven while the marriage and the judgements are being made. That is the last thing that we will need chaos while we are being married and assigned our duties. In any case, it is possible that people will just be EVEN more dissolute that they can ever be imaginably, but again whatever... They are NOT G-d's people, I could care less. They are NOT being ruled by Christ. They do not know Him, they have no relationship with Him it is a complete separation between Him and the people on the Earth. Once it is over, He comes down with the City, the idiots are scared probably thinking they are being attacked by aliens. Satan deceives and urges them to attack, once they do they are stopped at some point the wicked dead are resurrected and along with those alive are judged, they bow, accept their punishment and so on as the last part of above.
Since I personally don't care about these people again call me selfish I am not striving to be like them so I really don't care I really don't care what is the possible scenario. I guess we will see...

Personally, belief in Jesus today is based in faith. we cannot roll out a document that "proves" inthe scientific meaning of the word, that Jesus was the Incarnatio of God on Earth. My suspicion is that when he returns and there is no question, there will be few, if any unbelievers. What is the old saw? There are no atheists in foxholes? When the Lord of all creation is standing before you in all his glory, i defy you to turn up your nose and walk away claiming he doesn't exist. Just saying.

Reagan had been for many years in the political spotlight in the US as governor of California, as well as two failed attempts to get the GOP nomination for president. Comparing his exposure and recognizability to Barry's is like comparing apples to submarines. Many of us new voters in 76, at the time voted against the only president who had never been elected to the office or the VP, mainly due to his apparent inability to negotiate a few steps or some stadium bleachers, must've seen him stumble off the aircraft a thousand times in the last few months of that run up. Jimmy seemed like such a nice feller. Inside 2 years I was regretting my vote but paying more attention to things and learning things I did not know, like the Bill of Rights, the Constitution, Declaration, Federalist papers, and on and on... So next election, having corrected the error in my ways, proceeded to vote for Reagan as many times as I could.
...Who compared Regean's exposure to Obama? What I"m saying is this: Is there a candidate that we know (or not know) about right now that can *Be* another Reagan. Remember: Just because someone is in the political spotlight does not mean he is well known.
