Carbon tax to keep U.S. safe from terrorism?! NYT’s Friedman urges carbon tax to fix America post Boston Terror! Sometimes we think guys like this are bigger terrorists than the ones with guns and bombs. Attempting to parlay an act of terror to get a totally unrelated carbon tax passed is a terrorist tactic in our book. While Friedman uses no guns or bombs, remember that the pen can be mightier than the sword, or on this case, the bomb. Both appear intent upon using panic to achieve their goals. Remember in either case the ends appears to justify the means.

Asshole tax, all liberals must pay every time they open their mouth. The more money you make the more the tax is, double for people who work in broadcasting.

Friedman is an overrated fool. Why people take him seriously is beyond me.
Carbon taxes & a carbon exchange do nothing for "global warming/climate change", but it will help prop up worthless regimes & kill jobs. It's a fancy way to tax & socialize something that cannot be avoided or reduced. So it's would never go away. This is taxing the air you breathe, people, & if you meet people who say they really believe this BS, axe them to do their part by comitting suicide. By breathing & farting, you emit carbon dioxide, so if you are dead, you can do your part to fight "GW/CC". That usually shuts down the arguement.
I love it when they say, "it's revenue neutral"... WTF! So why bother?
That's when the BS meter spins at 50,000 RPM.
So a carbon tax will have all the haters now love us. What in the hell will they come up with next.
Taxes always are the answers to the left, no matter what.
