• I watched the clip where she slapped poor Meyers silly, it was pretty funny to watch.

  I like Fiorina, she is obviously smart and not afraid to speak her mind, but Presidential material? Nah. She might make a good right hand to a President in some other capacity but the jungle of politics is a whole different world than the corporate jungle. She has a lot of learning to do before she looks at the Oval Office.

  • I agree with you. When see ran in Kalifornia for Senate, she was out liberaled by Boxer and her goons. She learned a lot, and Like I said I love her style, no bullshit and take no prisoners and she does it with style. She could give a few pointers to the rest of the presidential herd. Will she be president?..I don't think so, but she would wake a hell of a vice president compared to that senile old groping nut basket we have now.

    • Vice President? Ya think so? She does seem to be smart enough and have the nuggets but that is a pretty big step to take. I don't know, I'm not up on Kali. politics, but maybe you are right.

  • I like her. She needs to smack down the lay off meme now. My recollection is she inherited a bloated inefficient company they got away from its core competencies. Seems to me everyone at HP would have lost their jobs if she hadn't streamlined the company. GE's Jack Welch did the same thing and he was lecture circuit hero.

    • No, what she did was make a giant gamble on saving HP by purchasing Compaq. Huge blunder. So bad they fired her. Now, we don't need to debate the finer points of her justification for that decision -- all that really matters is that it was a bad decision. And when the biggest decision you ever made in your life was mammothly wrong, THAT DOES NOT QUALIFY YOU TO BE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.

      • I quit buying HP computers several years ago due to bad experiences, especially with the power plugs crapping out. I have an Acer laptop I use constantly that's several years old and never a problem.

        Compaq was at the bottom of the list. I couldn't fathom why anyone would buy them. i quit buying them before I quit buying HP.

        I do have a couple of HP printers/scanner/copiers that so far have worked with no problems. I got them on sale for $99 each, so if they crap out I can junk them and it's no big deal.

        • I can't say for sure why she bought Compaq, except maybe to get the equipment cheap to expand the computer business. It's obvious that nobody would buy Compaq for it's reliability and innovation. I doubt the whole story will ever be told. She was controversial, and was beaten down in the press.

        • One of the things that bugs me is the way CEOs get rich shepherding these mergers through. Notice how she got wealthy even though she made a disastrous decision, so wealthy she could practically self-finance her own senate campaign? You have to be suspicious about motive when a CEO gets rich off a bad decision. I've watched some of these CEOs go from company to company, getting wealthier and wealthier with every stop, and every company they work for is left in shambles. Look at the numbnut Obama brought in to be CEO of GM -- Akerson. In his previous stint as a CEO, the company went bankrupt. And he had no auto experience whatsoever. WTF? If you and I failed at a job, we would have a helluva time getting past the blot on our resume. But CEOs? They're like politicians: failure just seems to enhance their resume.

    • Good point.
      HP was trying to expand into areas where they had no real expertise. They should have stayed with what they excelled in, top notch test equipment. I have used their stuff for a long time. In the Air Force, I was a calibration tech, and most of the equipment we used was HP. They were the standard by which all others were measured.

      • I used to make sales calls there. One of the guys I called on was po'ed when he got offered an early termination package not long after Carly took over. He took it. In short order they found out they should have kept him and the hired him as a consultant and paid him more than he made as an employee. Added benefit was he didn't work there 5 days a week. Lol.

  In 2008 I worked on the research for McVain ( we were a small company that got a small of the research) we had to research media people. We found some good stuff but not surprisingly he never had the balls to use any of it. We had Obermann's arrest record and Solidad O'Brian's open warrant for failure to pay her illegal alien a minimum wage in New York State among other items.

• Good for her. As for her candidacy, I don't get it. Sure, she seems smart, but isn't her main claim to fame her giant blunder at HP? And her miserable failure of a run against Barbara Boxer? I hate this kind of shit, where people fail, fail, fail, and then try to gloss over all the failures and pretend they're a good choice for higher office. It's like, "Shit, I f**ked up in private business, I'm only good for politics now." That's what Hillary is doing, trying to gloss over a lifetime of failure and pretend she should be president. I call BS.

    • You guys are forgetting Abe Lincoln...he failed most of his adult life, until he ran for POTUS! He was arguably the best US president of the 19th century. Reagan was probably the best US president of the 20th century, and of course, the MSM media thinks that OB is the bestest prezidunt to the twentyonest senchuree!

• Here is another twist. Type in Sethmyers.org (his name incorrectly spelled) and you go to HIS website. It looks like an underling of his may have registered the wrong domain name and perhaps now Seth can gain some experience firing someone. -or- Mr. Meyers doesn't know how to spell his own name ( this to me seems quite plausible as the man is truly a dolt).
