Carter’s advice to Obama: Don’t alienate voters

Former President Jimmy Carter has some advice for Barack Obama as he gears up for the 2012 election: Don’t alienate voters with controversial positions. Jimmy, try and follow this: the ship is well out to sea, the bridges are smoking cinders and the horse is too far away to even sense your cluelessness as you close the barn door.

  • The only time OBlowme listens to anyone is if they are padding his pockets or they have wisdom to give on how to destroy America. Jimmy you are not marxist enough for him. But if you give him the deed to your peanut farm I'm sure he'll kick you back a few hulls.

  • Too late. we are already alienated. Like the first day we saw him. Now lots of others are catching on (Olivia being the notable exception.)

  • Carter's advice? My Irony meter just exploded and sent shrapnel thru-out the house....Carter's advice.....Oxymoron if ever there was one

  • A lot of parallels between the Old Peanut Farmer and "Dear Leader". So what's next, another Iranian oil embargo?

  • So Jimmy Carter is still alive, I didn't know that. The worst President of the 20th Century remains the worst ex-President of the 21st Century.

  • Listening to that old idiot is controversy enough. One term destructive s.o.b. has no business offering advice. "How not to run an administration" by Jimmy "the Peanut". That article just reminded me why I hate carter, giving away the Canal was just weirdly stupid, then Iran, then china , then....Only one prez worse than carter, guess who.

  • 0bama will continue the hard left agenda. Just remember that 0bama is not an ideologue, he tells this all the time.

  • While BO himself is probably one of the few people in the world stupid enough to take advice from Jimmy Carter, his controllers, alas, are not.
