Census figures show more than one-third of Americans receiving welfare benefits

• This is the obama handlers figures so you know it's all a bunch of bullshit and lies. I know several folks that are disabled and they aren't getting a dime from the gubment. I'm one of them.

• I would like to see those numbers as well. Do they include housing and medical care? Food Stamps are a "nutritional assistance program" and those numbers are not considered welfare. All I know is that there is something wrong in a society where a third of the population can't get by without assistance. And I have heard nearly 50% are getting aid. We are hitting the tipping point.

• How much do you want to bet they cooked the books on those numbers too.

• These are just the numbers that bureaucrats have released, you know they use defintions to make stats looks better, like inflation for example.
