Obama did one hell of a job in the "community", Chicago should be one of the best & safest cities in America. Instead, it is one of the bloodiest, most violent cities in the nation.

About the only thing Chicago has become is a shining example of Quagmire's Marxist views, and their effect on society.
Ponder this, in chicago, to own a handgun(if you abide by the law) you must pay a tax, pay a tax on ammo, pay a tax at the end of the year, and by the time you are done, if you buy a cheap gun, you spend north of a grand, per year to own it. Then, if you want a CCW, you must take a 16 hour $300 class, then you must pay $150 to apply-and in order to apply, you must have a computer, with a high speed internet connection, must be able to scan your graduation certificate into the computer(so you need a scanner) and you must be able to pay with a credit card for the fees, and the additional $50 fee for fingerprints. So, it is literally impossible for most Chicago citizens to have a gun for protection.
The shootings of innocent people will continue.

Well, the options for the lull in Chicago shooting was CCW or Global Warming- er, Climate Change. Sounds like Climate Change causing the polar vortex leading to a harsh winter in the upper midwest was the driver behind reduction in shootings.
So next time your favorite, lazy progressive gets snarky about CCW not causing shootings to go down, tell them that Climate Change actually saved lives. Then do a burn out in your car and tell them you are laying down some serious gun control..
Two facts. Bad guys shooting bad guys, drug dealers 'negotiating' with each other will not be affected by CCW since by definition CCWers are cleaner than clean. Gangbangers don't get CCWs, they can't get CCWs.
The other fact is that CCW will bring down crime after armed assaulters figure out the risk of running into a citizen with a CCW outweighs the gains from robbing them. Maybe bad guys will analyze the CCW rate and maybe they'll just have to have a few of their 'co-workers' be 'retired' or put on disability.
If guns caused crime, my house would be more dangerous than East St. Louis. It isn't.
All this despite the 2nd Amendment.
LEGALLY have a gun for protection, anyway.... They could do what NY and Connecticut gun owners did, have one anyway.
