Chicago Police Chief: Second Amendment Is A Danger To Public Safety. Is February National Pinhead Police Chief Month? This guy is a total failure. His police department obviously doesn’t function. Evidence? How about 4,500 murders in Chi Town since 2003. That’s a 450 per year average. January 2013 had 42 that they know of, yet they think MORE gun regulations will solve the problem which is not only inane, it’s insane. He’s right, the Second Amendment is a danger to public safety, but only if usurped by these clowns.

sa_rose, sorry, can't ignore him. What happens in Chicago is infecting the rest of the nation, & add to that, Rahm Emanual wants to be president, along with Hillary, who also has Chicago roots. Then you add the 2 jackoffs from NYC, Michael Bloomberg & Andrew Cuomo, & if the GOP cannot pull it's head out of it's ass & they try giving us another nominee like Romney, McCain, or Dole, 1 of those 4 progrssive authoritarians will become president in 2016. That is, if Obama actaully leaves The White House.

Maybe he's on to something here. Ever since we repealed that right-to-take-drugs amendment, we got all the illegal drugs right the hell off the streets, so I'm sure that getting rid of the second amendment would have an equally good result.
All is clear: The man wants to keep his job rather than buck the system, and keep his $250K salary. So much for looking after the citizens. He is a political appointee.

I listened to him here out of Cinci for almost 20years and he got his lifelong dream job in Chicago and left here a couple years ago. Just wondered how he was doing.
I'll try to remember to check him out next time I'm out there. I have some vacation time coming up and want to get up there for my nephew's birthday.

I know that Chiefs of Police are not technically politicians, but this guy talks too much like one not to be thought of as one. That said, he has to be the most vile and ignorant person I've heard in a long time, even for a politician.
