Chicago teachers’ pamphlet riddled with spelling and punctuation errors. The pamphlet was produced by Teachers for Social Justice, an organization comprising radical educators and union apologists. Which pretty much explains why they sound ignorant and uneducated.

    • Returning to this thread was deja vu all over again. My crowley antibodies are all up in arms again. As for this post, I apreciate the situation, but really? I have a degree and years of experience and I was on food stamps and CHIP for my kids. Are you really surprised you can't find a job with a degree in women's studies (i.e. nothing?)

          • poppa, I avoid politics altogether on FB. Not worth the trouble. I also know it is a turnoff to many, so I avoid it.

          • I occasionally say something political. But I am well aware of the "itsout there for ever for everyone." I rarely even make a personal comment. I repost things that get sent to me that I like, or that I figure my friends will like.

          • That's basically the extent of my political commentary on FB. I just sometimes get a smartass comment from a libtard, and I quickly delete them.
            I have a lot of "friends" from playing Mafia Wars, which I have abandoned, but haven't weeded out all the players yet.

          • I once uttered that line during a staff meeting at a heavy equipment school I taught at. The administrator, who had never in his life operated a piece of equipment, was telling me that I had to teach by the book, rather than by what I had learned in the field.

            He used the line about those that can, do. I countered with those that can't teach, administrate. My job was soon eliminated, and I went back to doing.

          • I dearly loved the teaching aspect of it, but I had to be able to teach the right way to do thing. There ARE no high quality private heavy equipment schools in this country. All the quality teaching is done at union apprentice programs, all by experienced operators. But I might have been a bit too outspoken against liberalism to ever get that job.

          • Yes, like on my FB page, I had to put a note telling people that if they don't like my politics, don't comment or unfriend me, nasty comments will be deleted and the poster will be unfriended.
            I had one woman that was just impossible to talk to, so I dumped her.

    When all you can do is criticize spelling and grammar, it means you have nothing. Losers...

    Really? I ignore LOTS of grammatical errors. Hell, I MAKE lots of gramatical errors. This was written BY teachers, FOR teachers. It makes a difference.

  • When you're too stupid to learn , When you're too stupid to even want to learn , this just makes plain simple sense .

    At some point one must come to the conclusion that holding a meaningful good paying job is slightly and forever out of their league . When you want to make a lot of money , but you lack what it takes to make it happen , you have a group pity party and then have a temper tantrum .

    In the mean time , you hope others are more stupid or as stupid to notice your lack of , or grasp of reality and its rules for sound living . Oh life must be a terrible thing in the world of pretend .
