        There has been "blood like" water in other parts of the world some due to minerals and chemicals and the waters are undrinkable and uninhabitable for fishes, remember that there were a lot of marine life just dying out of sudden a few years ago?

        In Ancient Egypt up to a point all the Egyptian population and that included the Israeli slaves suffered under the curses inflicted upon Egypt but then the area where the Israelis lived was protected for the rest and then with the sprinkling of blood on the door they were protected from the last plague. Since we got to think globally, I have often wondered which country/ies or region/s will be the area where has special protection against the plagues? I have the mind that everything already happened will in some way happen again. We are waiting for "the pharaoh" and we are waiting for the "Moses" to set us free.

        Have you had any thoughts of that kind?

        • um, I'm no expert, but here's something to think on, maybe...

          earthquakes will increasingly rip up the surface of the world, and the infrastructures of travel, communication and manufacturing will collapse during the Great Tribulation. These earthquakes have no equal in recorded history. Each earthquake will have greater strength than the one before it. The final earthquake will be so violent that it will literally move all of the mountains and islands from their places.

          So, one might conclude from this perhaps that possibly the safer places will not be anything like one can imagine today, sea bottoms becoming mtn tops and what not... maybe, we'll see. :D
