The amazing thing is that it’s taken 16 months and numerous unresolved crises for MSNBC host and presidential sycophant Chris Matthews to get over the thrill that goes up his leg whenever he hears Obama speak.

You have to feel heart sick over this situation & I feel for the people of La. w/BO taking over, but as the saying goes "Give a man enuf rope & he'll hang himself", hopefully this is what is going on here, incompotence at it's highest level

He is complaining that Obama is not dictatorial or despotic enough. It is sure that overall Obama is not PRESIDENTIAL, however I feel like Matthews wants Obama and Govt to TAKE OVER. I have a problem with that. BP messed up, but I am very suspicious about the whole affair to begin with. Obama taking over completely is not a good solution to the problem either.
The problem with what Matthews is saying is that he assumes that Obama understands what being the President means & what his role actually is supposed to be. I don't believe he really understands what his job really is, & I don't believe he has the mental capacity for the job anyway. He is still doing the only thing he knows how to do, campaign. He does not know how to govern, & if traveling the world, playing golf, & giving speeches saying how shitty America is to the rest of the world is what being President is all about, he would be the greatest ever. But since he thinks it is, & because he does'nt know any better, & since the MSM give him a pass, things will get much worse for Obama.
Maybe even guys like Matthews will figure out how awful he is, & maybe even cover him objectively. Then again, I might have a date tonight with WWE "Diva" Maryse...

good points dannyboy-matthews is of the ilk it seems, that anyone who carrys the progressive water, is qualified and understands what it means to run a nation-and sadly that isn't the case, as we saw with carter, slick willy, and now abysmally barry soetoro. Lets just hope that the electorate pulls their heads from their asses and starts making moves come November-or we will all be getting gubment paychecks and gubment healthcare(if we are registered progressives-those who oppose obama will magically get wait-listed for heart surgery, kidney dialysis, etc. )
