Professor Lennart Bengtsson said the pressure to resign was intense and came mainly from climate scientists in the US, including one employed by the US government. Good to know our tax money is being used to support scientific censorship, eh?

Wrong- they would like to do something "very substantial" (destructive) to what's left of the working class based on what they know to be a hoax... the quoted bit assumes sincerity but the gist of what they are doing- collecting taxes and selling carbon credits- does NOT reflect the slightest real concern for what they are going out of their way to brainwash us into believing-- the dire crisis... we have only 500 days... if that were the case then selling carbon credits would be tantamount to licensing industry to kill the planet and that isn't what's happening at all.
The real "inconvenient truth" is that Al Gore and his ilk are using governmental authority to enforce a hoax onto a population that has been knocked on its butt bu=y an economic depression that is still more or less in effect- itself being in part the product of willful negligence in enforcing existing regulations on banks and derivatives markets.
The Obama administration is lending itself to be used as a weapon of economic warfare against the middle class and needs to be held accountable for gross subversion and treason. When they are burned at the stake then let those fires and soot warm the planet.
With a name like academic advisory council, you just know it's run by Communists.
It should be The People's Academic Advisory Council.

This is pretty typical of all of Academia. The old guard refuses to believe anything not c.f. insistent with what they think they know. Look at how Pasteur, the researchers . On radiation, the proponents of clean environment for the prev e nation, healing of disease. Even the dinosaurs who all have different names that the ones I was taught. Troy was s a myth until s on e German guy dug it up!
That's how it became "Settled Science", they fired or forced out anybody who disagreed with their little carbon tax scheme.
This Scandanavian is just another lavishly funded mouthpiece for the evil Koch Brothers; if you don't believe me, just ask Harry Reid.
This is how real science is done!!
Come up with conclusion that will force totalitarian oppressive government and stifle freedom. Take out anyone that disagrees with you.
I'm not surprised that Bengtsson is concerned for his safety. Political violence is always and always will be from the left big government types.
