Okay Bill Weird... sure climate is long term weather patterns and the weather is about short term meteorological changes.
So yes in essence Mr. Weird you are right. They are not interchangeable, they don't exactly mean the exact same thing, but they are closely related, so it makes sense that people use it interchangeably. With that said, it is very possible that what they meant is exactly that... that climate (long term weather patterns) do not agree with Al Gore so if that is the case, you need to calm down.
However if they stated it wrongly... seriously? You couldn't say that with a little more tact and in a professional manner?

No. That claim is repeated often, but it isn't true. Alois was an illegitimate child, no father listed, and his mother worked in a Jewish household so there is a CHANCE that Alois' father was a member of that Jewish household, but it's pure conjecture.
A few years ago, samples of DNA were collected from various Hitler relatives and the results showed a chromosome in the family that is common in Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews, but that does not make Hitler or his family Jewish. If sharing a chromosome makes you a member of a group, then we are all Buddhist Mongols.

Once the liberal news networks started hiring people like Al Sharpton, Chelsea Clinton, and Eliot Spitzer, the era of standards in journalism was officially over. I carefully watch the periodic surveys of public trust in occupations, and I expect journalists to drop below lawyers eventually, just above used car salesmen and methamphetamine dealers.
