Pam Geller hosts a cartoon contest and she is accused of hate speech. Al Sharpton encourages violence and rioting in Baltimore but he is not accused of anything. Does this make any kind of sense to anyone?

Did you see the story, I think last week, about an air force vet who did exactly that? This lady veteran, yes I said lady, was watching a demonstration on the college campus in the town she lives in and noticed the kids were stomping on our flag. She picked it up and...got arrested! No shit, she was arrested for taking private property. If I remember right from her interview on their local news station she did not disrupt the kids protest, she told them to protest all they wanted. But, they were not going to disrespect our flag by walking all over it. The cops released her a short time later but she didn't give the flag back!
It turned out later, when the news hounds interviewed some of the students, they didn't even know what they were protesting against. Vague answers about inequality in something is about all they could come up with. Welcome to your institution of higher learning!

Indeed without provocation changes can't be made. The thing is to make good changes as bad changes are unsustainable. Some provocations lead to war and it is a matter of wanting it more than the other guy. We would be still be English colonies if forefathers didn't provoke the King to let us go so we can do our own thing, of course firstly provoked by the crown by increasing unrepresented taxation. They wanted it more than the English and we have the USA.
