I was travelling in RI last year and I heard an interview on local radio of a local police chief of a large force, I forget which. The interviewer (NPR?) said something similar- vets bringing back war-skills and mind sets and being overly violent. Ironically, the chief said that the opposite was true- the veterans were:
-less likely to resort to force, they had seen REAL high-order violence and evil and were harder to 'rattle' than non-vet officers
-Vets were more likely to stick to protocols and put use-of-force protocols in place, they were less likely to use force
-Vets were more likely to institute after-action reporting and analysis so that lessons were learned and taught back to the force.
Why is it that vets coming back to the US are more violent prone, but immigrants raised in 3rd world violent shit holes are not more prone to violence?
Because they're just frightened refugees.
The root cause of the Baltimore riot, looting, and arson is the Democratic Party.
There is a common connection with all of the civil/racial unrest in this country. It is happening in cities that have almost no conservative political influence. Baltimore has been run by big machine Dems for decades, they are too blame. It's not Vets, the Koch brothers, the Tea Party, or Fox News. It is on the Dems who have run it into the ground.
Wasn't Baltimore one of those cities that had 110 Percent of the vote for Obama?

If what that stupid bitch said was true there would be a bunch of DEAD rioters on the streets of Baltimore. What makes this dumb blonde think that a vet from another part of the country would move to Baltimore in the first place?
I would say the Baltimore cops, veterans or not, showed remarkable restraint while getting pelted with rocks and bricks. Not one scumbag was shot and killed! Or even hurt in any way!
I am still seeing red over Baldwins comments. That dumb bitch needs to apologize to all veterans for her comments, on air, just like she was when she made them. Anything less is a slap in the face to all of us who have honorably and proudly served our country.
