While I am NOT a Ron Paul fanatic, I DO believe some of his ideas have merit.
A full, PUBLIC audit of the federal reserve and moving back to the gold and silver standard sound good to me.
We all have agreed that RPs fiscal policy makes sense, it's the rest of the maniacal dwarf's policies that go off the rails!
I'd like to think the system of checks and balances would keep him from going off the deep end. He does actually believe in the Constitution.

As long as he can generate some fiscal and monetary policy influence within the GOP, he has accomplished a lot and without destroying our foreign policy. I call that a win.
Now, if we can just get Woody Allen, er Harry Reid out of the Senate, things can start happening.
