One James C. Moore is wetting his pants over the idea of Rick Perry winning the presidency next year. Is he certain Perry will triumph or simply crying wolf to scare up enthusiasm for the Amazing Collapsing Presidency?
Either way, the whining, near-hysterical tone of his CNN “piece” is a bright spot in the Obama gloom:

[Perry] is entering the race for the White House and will spawn the ugliest and most expensive presidential race in U.S. history, and he will win.
In other words, “It’s raaaaacist for Perry to enter the race and try to win.”
A C and D student, who hates to govern, loves to campaign, and barely has a sixth grader’s understanding of economics, will lead our nation into oblivion.
We thought he was talking about Obama until we remembered Perry’s the one who revealed his grades.
[When] Obama criticizes the Texas economy for its minimum wage job boom, [he] will be accused of attacking … working men and women… (Texas has created a large share of the new jobs in the United States in the last decade but studies indicate many of them are at places like Wal-Mart and Carl’s Jr.)
The Texan economy is so terrible, people are flocking there from California.
President Obama will also get beaten up for presiding over the first bond rating downgrade in U.S. history as well as high unemployment.
It’s so unfair to beat up an incumbent president for the problems he’s caused.
… they will write the epitaph to set upon the tombstone of history’s greatest democracy: Perry-Palin, 2012.
Obama already done enough to this country. We say bring it on.

"Enjoy your tax-debt wheels little hamsters."
Did you get an exemption?
N/A because the metaphor does not apply to me. I'm a plow mule stapped to a plow...its different because the mule knows he's being worked though can't do much about it. The hampster is a dumb rodent that thinks he's going somewhere because the ground is moving yet doesn't ask himself why the scenery never changes.
Wow, another blow-dry fake to come out of texas. Perry is an institution man like Obama is, which is why the media is jamming him down our throats. Go watch the Daily Show segment that shows how they ignore Ron Paul, literally avoid saying his name, to get you conditioned for another fake election between a blue oligarch or red oligarch.
This CNN article is part of the propaganda strategy. What's that saying? No such thing as bad publicity? They make you hate him or make you love him but either way your head is occupied with the contest between a handful of a-holes that represent the same interests.
America is done. We get the politicians we deserve I guess and thats why they are all fakes that parrot whatever their focus groups and polling tell them without one clue about the real problems. Enjoy your tax-debt wheels little hamsters.
PJM has had anywhere from three to six Perry Puff Pieces on the front page at all times since right before he announced his upcoming coronation. Business as usual, nothing to see here. . .move along.
*******OFF TOPIC QUESTION********
I know that Beck is going to Israel on 8-24.
Has anyone seen the schedule of what/when/where to watch this on-line?
Thank you!
//Vic
http://www.glennbeck.com/israel/ - should get you in the ballpark
I saw the first one this morning MGAP. Again many many thanks!! I've had Lu Yehi stuck in my head all day long!!
Beck has been in Israel for a few days leading up to 8/24.
Also, nice to see that the GOP Congressional leadership, aka John Boehner, understands what's going on...
http://www.politico.com/blogs/onmedia/0811/Beck_furious_with_Boehner.html
...& many conservatives still have reservations about Boehner, this will do nothing to help his cause in that regard.
Danybhoy, I can only shake my head in disbelief. Did these guys sleep through last November's election? I'm afraid that these blue-blooded RINOs will disenfranchise the conservatives, who don't have time to organize a solid party in time for 2012, and we'll be stuck with four more years.
My brother is already planning on moving to Singapore, and I'm considering packing up my family and going along...
MGAP Thank you very very much. That is exactly what I was looking for!
PERRY/RUBIO - 2012 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ooooh, i just got a chill running up and down my leg..... suck on that Chris Matthews, you effeminate commie btich!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm not convinced yet that Perry is much more than a panderer. Having lived in Texas for over twenty years I think giving any politician credit for the economy here is ridiculous. Texas weathers every economic storm better, primarily because our Constitution very strongly prevents politicians from interfering.
I'm trying to be more open minded about him, but he is just too much establishment GOP to suit me so far. . . not my cup of TEA.
I hope this is not the whole field. To be honest, I think every choice so far pretty much stinks. Not to the same degree in that Ron Paul is not in the same suck range as, say, Romney. That said, I am hopeful we see some new entrants. I'm looking for an authentic conservative statesman. I don't want the false bravado and the posturing, I want to see a candidate sell me on the positives of a conservative administration rather than solely rely on ripping BHO apart. That will be easy since he can not run on his record. Moreover, I need to see a roadmap to repairing the damage that big government has done to every citizen of this country even if they are too ill-informed to realize the extent of the damage.
I admit that I do not know who that person is yet.
I agree with you 100% SK.
Trust factor with Perry is zero. Ron Paul has the best ideas as far as going back to Constitutional direction but seems unrealistic because there has to be transition out of the giant mess. We can't just hack both ends of all the bridges and let the chumps fall where they may. That plan guarantees another term for the annointed putz in chief. Alan West won't go, he knows he's too fresh, but he'd accept an invite to veep, I think. On that same line I'd put Marco Rubio. Paul Ryan is sharp too, he could debate the ears off the occupant with no prompting of any sort, but I fear he has a visible price tag for the globalls - call it a hunch. John Bolton is hands down my choice but has apparently said he can't afford to run. Perry could win because of his charisma, another deficiency of Ron Paul's, unfortunately. Thaddeus McCotter is a great guy who tossed his hat in the ring, but has failed to make it on the radar. I'm not happy about much of any of it this time around. I don't want to have to hold my nose again to vote against Bobo and the Asshat, like last time.
Ron Paul would make a great Sec of the Treasury, or set monetary policy. He is right about going back to the gold standard. He has other ideas that just don't sit well with the majority and would never win.
Rubio and West have great potential, but need more seasoning. Same with Christie.
We need a business minded person right now, that may be the only way to turn the economy around from the death spiral Obama has put it in. Romney doesn't pass the smell test with me, My highest hope would be Cain, who doesn't seem to have much of a chance for the nomination right now, but then neither did McCain! There is just too much time left to make any predictions.
In the united states, monetary policy is not set by anyone elected. He would make a great executive, not monetary technician. Why you ask? Because he actually understands WTF is going on and doesn't rely on special-interest yes men to advise him on what to do. Why are we in such a rut right now? Because every president in the last 100 years at least has said "I don't understand all this complicated economy stuff, what do you think we should do Mr. Banker? You went to Harvard and must be really smart and of high moral character because I also went there" or something similar.
What we really need is a little Ron Paul mixed with clint eastwood: Not only tells them they're wrong, explains why, but also tells them to go f*ck themselves.
RP (Ron Paul) + PR (Paul Ryan) = DP (Double Penetration) + FED?
RP+PR=MOAB+Jackson Hole ;)
"but seems unrealistic "
Another meme carefully managed by the puppet masters. Yes we can just cut both hands off. It has happened in other countries plenty of times and life goes on and recovers. The architects of our matrix just want you to think that because they will be the only ones truely screwed. They have no skills to trade and will probably be lynched by angry mobs once the process of discovery starts.
I'm willing to bet if a "crazy and unrealistic" hard-money Constitutionalist like RP got elected shit would get real bad for about 2 weeks then life would begin to function normally for 90% of the population and be better within a few years. Once the shock wears off and we come out of our collective stupor, I'd also be willing to bet that there would be decades of dark secrets brought forth publicly by a no longer captured government and media. It would be like post WWII - 20 years of finding nazi monsters hiding in south america. But it would be 20 years of digging up all the old fraudsters, lobbysts, crooked politicians etc.
Maybe there can be like a constitutional musad that eliminates them too. mmmmm patriot porn...
But also being realistic: RP would be dead within 48 hours if he ever won anything. This is america - if you can't be bought, you'll be shot. I'm still throwing my vote away on him or other libertarian kook that makes the ballot. Obama or not we are f*cked either way.
So I'm not the only one who isn't being deceived by the "transitioning" argument for Ron Paul. I don't care what the media says about him. I don't care about the charisma of Rick Perry, and I definitely do not want a "strictly Republican" candidate. I want that Constitutionalist. He has voted consistently with his political philosophy, consistently with free market economics, tax breaks, and personal freedoms. He is a true supporter of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. I honestly do not see all of this contained in any other candidate. I see a good portion of it in Bachmann and McCotter, I don't see much of anything in terms of distinction from the lesser in popularity in this race, and Rick Perry looks far too much like a weasel to vote in. I mean, he was partnering with Al Gore in the 80s. That throws all hope in him out of the window. Also, his stance on the Fed is very iffy, while Ron Paul has been talking about it for years. Then you have his immigration policy which is SO far from anything everyone here seems to agree on. Then we have Romney who is only slightly conservative. I'm glad Pawlenty left. He was probably as bad.
So in other words, I full-heartedly support Ron Paul, but McCotter and Bachmann seem like pretty good choices if he doesn't make the cut. The rest... either they don't stick out, or they lack too much of the necessary Constitutional, American ideals that we all love so much.
Here you go, fellas

Dean, I know you have you reservations about Paul Ryan. I have mine about Bolton. Can quite put my finger on it but something doesn't feel right about him to me.
I totally forgot Thaddeus was running. He would be a good President on the political side perhaps, but he wouldn't be the kind of President that "excites" people.
That is true the Constitution of TX restricts the powers of the Governor which is a good thing. I am not convinced by Perry. I wish we had more choices to tell you the truth.
Agreed. And I wish one of them was Col. West. I'd certainly "settle" for Palin, but Allen West is in a league of his own in my opinion.
The problem with Palin is too much baggage. The only problem with West... too new in politics. He needs to be trained on how to be a bit more... diplomatic, he cannot talk to foreign leaders anyway he wants. If it could be someone like West or Rubio but had the experience of Bush or even if less so like a Palin would be great.
O-K... well we don't need to kiss anyone's ass, but diplomacy is a good skill to have. It doesn't pay to treat some people the way you would treat others. It is best to be culturally adept, some cultures value diplomacy and impeccable manners (like the Japanese) more than other cultures who value power and respect through fear (like many Islamic countries). West needs more time and so does Ryan and Rubio. I think that 2016 will be a very interesting year if we get there.
You know what - we need to stop worrying about what other countries think for awhile. I think Col. West probably has more experience on dealing with people that don't agree with him than Obama has ever had. I haven't seen anything to make me think that West couldn't be a good politician - even his "Irate emails" are usually well formed, concise, and very proper. He sure the heck responds better to things than I would.
It would be refreshing to have a President that put american first again, even with foreign leaders. It isn't like most of the world doesn't hate us already. At least leader wise.
Won't keep them from taking our money either...
It would be nice to have a leader that didn't bow to other leaders like a dog.
When you casually scan the web, it is easy to tell how scared to death the liberal media is about Gov. Perry simply by the sheer amount of editorializing going on. You don't even have to read the drivel. Get used to saying "President Perry." It's not rolling off the tongue well, but feels like a smooth beverage compared to trying to choke out President BO.
Perry-Palin, 2012
And CNN thinks that is more ridiculous than Obama-Biden 2008?
People would have to watch CNN to know that, though. From a domestic standpoint, CNN is just about dead.
BTW, Perry/Palin would'nt be bad, just saying.
"A C and D student, who hates to govern, loves to campaign, and barely has a sixth grader’s understanding of economics, will lead our nation into oblivion."
Sounds like he's talking about Barry, to me.
They haven't even started in on him yet about his heretical views on Global Climate Catastrophe, views which would imperil those billions of Green jobs which El Presidente is going to create next month.
OMG! It is Barry Goldwater.
