CNN: Trump is the Strongman We Don’t Need. We can only assume that it isn’t strongmen that CNN objects to so much as it is straw strongmen that they happen not to like. They have certainly had few issues over the last several years with a man who has been the closest thing America has had to a strongman since FDR. A man who ignores the laws of the legislative branch, who defies the Constitution’s abolition of imperial powers, who rules by fiat and in general acts as though this country were his France of 1700 and he its Louis VIV.

  • When the scumbags of the left begin to refer to Trump's speeches as "masterful pieces of performance art" they are finished - out of gas. This is the same type of crap they said about Reagan and when they did it boosted his numbers.

  • Trump's genius was the Mexican wall, b/c that puts Bernie into a position of having to offer something even bigger to the BLM movement... and i doubt he'll go that far. Trump sets up the impossible deal for Bernmeister to have to make.

  • Cuomo's ratings have tanked on CNN...No matter what they do it sucks and nobody watches (unless a plane crashes somewhere) So when they give their opinion of someone, I kinda believe them as much as O.J. really loved Nicole and didn't kill her.

    I think it is too soon to judge how Trump evolves as a candidate. In other words, does he remain so bombastic? Does he begin to act "presidential"? What I do know is he has shaped the narrative and took it away from the media. Every other GOP candidate has to fight for media oxygen. Meanwhile over at the Democratic Party, Hillary is fighting for her political life and losing and somehow a 70+ year old communist is drawing large crowds. All I can say about that is that the John Dewey education system has beared much fruit.

      Trump is doing a great job of shaping the narrative, and he is striking a chord with his lack of PC groveling, basically telling the PC press to piss off. I see it like this, he may not be what we need, and will likely not win the nomination, BUT, he is blazing the trail for the others to follow, and I am hearing lots of buzz about Ted Cruz riding Trumps coattails, without spending any money, but building a massive war chest and political machine. If he's as smart as I think he is, he will use the best parts of Trump's notoriety, and throw in his own wise ideas, and roll over Jeb on the way to the nomination. If he taps Trump for Secretary of Commerce, it would be the icing on the cake.
