She waived her right to Fifth Amendment privilege by issuing an opening statement, she ought to stand here and answer our questions.” Just a reminder: when you sign your tax return, it says any incorrect statement constitutes prejury even though you are nowhere near a court of law. Talk about one-sided.

Funny how she thinks the 5th amendment is there to protect the "innocent". I always thought it was to protect a guilty person from incriminating himself.
I haven't heard if Lerner was there under a Congressional supeona or not. If not, she has the right to walk out but it doesn't make her look any better. Even though I think everyone involved is guilty as hell I also think nothing will come of it. None of the sissies in either House have enough huevos to do what is right, take care of the taxpaying American.

I'd like to believe the rant by this Stephan Lynch guy was genuine. If it was you can be sure he will get a private "audience" from some DNC thugs reminding him of just who controls who gets elected and who doesnt. He should be "clarifying" his comments within the next few days, unless he meets with an accident.....unexpectedly.
IMO this will all blow over in a few days and back to thieving as usual, the LOFO's will forget all about it, and certainly the RNC will never bring it up again because the MSM will blame the whole deal on them.
So how soon can we expect the DOJ to open the criminal investigation of Ms. Lerner? Or is criminal conduct by IRS employees "irrelevant"?

If she took the time to say all that crap she should have answered questions. This is all crap.
The fact that she was excused without being made to repeatedly invoke her fifth amendment right against self incrimination is a tell- the resistance is pantomime and will likely be a white wash.
Also- if there was no evidence of wrongdoing how is it that she finds it necessary to use silence to avoid incriminating herself?
Funny how the progressives like to cherry pick the Constitution for its convenience... dispose of rights like the first, second, fourth... but the fifth is peachy keen because it isn't as inconvenient as the rest... they have shown that the constitution does not apply to us then it shouldn't apply to them either.
