Seven members of the Congressional Black Caucus flew down to Cuba and expressed their deep admiration for the island nation’s murderous Communist dictator. They got as giddy as Chris Matthews thinking about Barack Obama.
Rep. Bobby Rush (D-IL) said meeting the brutal dictator was like talking with old family members:
“The fifty-year embargo just hasn’t worked,” CBC Chairwoman Barbara Lee (D-Ca.) told reporters after returning from Cuba. “The bottom line is that we believe its time to open dialogue with Cuba.”
Lee and others called Castro warm and receptive during their discussion. “It was quite a moment to behold,” Lee said, recalling her moments with Castro.
“It was almost like listening to an old friend,” said Rep. Bobby Rush (D-Il). “In my household I told Castro he is known as the ultimate survivor.”
Rep. Laura Richardson (D-Ca.) reported that Castro was receptive to President Obama’s promise to turn the page in foreign policy.
“He listened. He said the exact same thing as President Obama said,” Richardson said with awe.
Barney Frank got a little too excited at the thought of turning a page until Richardson said he was only speaking metaphorically.

Fact...Barbara Lee was banging the commie dictator of Grenada(Maurice Bishop) before the US started banging the island. Would it be possible for Castro to annex Ms. Lee's power base, Oakland?
They can have Oakland, hell, they can have the Bay Area. It's communist already anyways.
