We saw this clip and thought, “Hmmmm. Congressman Lewis sounds familiar.” Then it hit us – he sounds just like Cleveland Brown, the animated character that originated on Family Guy and has now moved on to his own show. Same tone, same cadence, same emphatic delivery.
Seems only fair since Lewis is a bit of a cartoon himself.

Hmm someone should tell this genius that if we assume that rights are imparted by the will of the state then we have permitted that state the authority to abolish them. And I sincerely hope he doesn't believe that the government has such authority. After all by taking such a view you are complicit in the belief that slavery is only wrong if the government has said it was wrong and the extermination of six million Jews was perfectly acceptable because German law had not properly established their right to exist. Scary. BTW, has this guy ever apologized the the Tea Party people he lied about?
