Contestants on new Dutch game show are asylum seekers who are about to be deported. This is for real. “A Dutch game show (Weg Van Nederland) is giving failed asylum seekers the chance to win 4,000 euros (£3,525) to help them start a new life back in their country of origin.” We’re not quite sure what Weg Van Nederland means, but we suspect a loose translation is Are You Smarter Than A Jihadist?

If they did that here in the U.S., they would have to run the show 24/7 for years and years. They should have a show here with 3 human sized boxes. There will be 2 contestants for each question. The loser of a question gets to pick a box. 2 boxes will have a pinata or a pack of tortillas. In one of those boxes is an ICE agent ready to deport the sucker who picks him. Sounds fair to me. There was no coercion.
The winner should get a 1st class ticket on the next flight out of Holland and the rest get to fly coach with their clothes and that is it. However it’s Europe and they all feel like they should give the house away to those that don’t deserve it.
