Aside from that, what a sad situation for any body of uniformed men & women to feel that moved to turn away from their leader. A new low for America. Very saddened by this whole thing, especially having hung out in NYC since the early 60's, and knowing how this story goes, depending who is the 5-borough boss.

No, that was the day before at the memorial, where he wasn't invited to speak. He's generally late everywhere he goes, but he might have been late to the memorial because he was embarrassed about not being asked to speak alongside the governor and other dignatories. Don't ask me why there was both a memorial and a funeral.

The reason there were two services is purely political so the politicians can mug up for the cameras. Nothing more.
