Modern bribery is cleaner and easier than old-fashioned briefcases full of cash – what they do now is say the payments are part of a perfectly innocent “separation agreement” and the dirty politician gets elected to the U.S. Senate anyway.

Whats the big deal? Any fool knows that if you are going to do a large contract with a state or large city, you have to include the usual kickbacks to the politicians or you wont even be considered. Same with the Feds or GSA. Payup er donate, or face endless audits.
