Jon Corzine, the former head of bankrupt commodities brokerage firm MF Global, has been subpoenaed to testify about his role in the collapse before a congressional committee. Hey, a greedy fat-cat Wall St. banker is gonna get grilled in front of a congressional committee! Just what Obama and the Democrat-Media complex said should happen. We’ll bet they’re high-fivin’ each other today like it was November 2008 again.

5th amendment time, make sure to fire up the crosscut shredders.
Somebody help me out here. Agriculture? The Agriculture Committee? While I can't wait for the hearing details, I'm honestly curious what the hell their jurisdiction is.
MF Global was involved in--among other things--agriculture futures, which a lot of farmers use to ensure they get paid well for their crops in case the price goes down. They sell their crops for a specific price before planting (thus the word "futures"). If the price goes down before harvest, they are protected; if the price goes up, whoever bought the futures saves dough. This was the original (and still legitimate) use of futures. A lot of farmers lost a ton of money when MF Global went bust, enough to put them out of business.
Thanks for the forehead smack, I knew it had to be something straightforward and was going crazy trying to figure it.
Either that or they were the only department Obama didn't have something on to keep them quiet. I can't believe the admin is going to eat one of their own, unless of course, it is just another sham.
Let's all get ready for a ton of "Sorry, Congressman, I cannot recall."
Or just as likely: "On the advice of counsel, I am asserting my 5th Amendment Rights"
He will look great in an orange jumpsuit.
He's gonna wish he died in that carwreck he was in a couple of years ago.
Does this mean they want their payoffs delivered personally?
