More proof of that free health care isn't free. Next will BMI testing. I can pass one but I doubt seriously if many others can.

Speaking for myself, I'd give my employer this information if I were to get a break on the premium increase. My concern is the slippery slope where as Obamacare costs spiral the "need" for more personal information grows. It just reinforces how bad this law is and how it subordinates us to the employer/state to such a great extent.

We are charged extra if we don't provide a certain threshold of "wellness" information through our company's Blue Cross Blue Shield policy. I haven't complained because i keep myself pretty fit and there are corpulent wheezers lurching around costing our pool more then it would otherwise
However, my wife had a couple difficult pregnancies so who am I to complain?
That's just it, I'm somewhat of a gym rat and pretty strong in the cardio area but we've got a bunch of fatties who have a bunch of fattie immediate family members who have been blowing up our pool. Now that my small car company is part of VW Group, maybe just maybe the bump in premium won't be too bad since the risk will be spread around much further.
My company did the same thing. "Your premiums are going to go up by $600.00. If you take the Biometric Screening, we'll waive the premium increase." I took the health screening. I couldn't hack 600 bucks to try to hide the fact that I'm overweight and out of shape. It's kind of obvious, anyway.
I do not blame them. Doesn't mean I like it at all but I do not blame them for trying to minimize their financial exposure to Obamacare since it forces them to insure every one of their employees. This is just the beginning, which sucks but as we are always reminded, elections have consequences.
My question is does Obamacare allow for this? (and no I'm not reading all seven plus feet of it either).
Probably does not even address it. I'm guessing CVS's HR people and legal staff did their due diligence.

Yeah, some poor junior lawyer on the house staff undoubtedly had to read to ensure that they are compliant.
So now junior lawyers are more knowledgeable on ObamaCare than the legislators that voted it in. Sounds about right.
