Seems like there’s a growing amount of stories about attempts to brainwash children with communist propaganda at public schools lately.

Perfect example of why home schooling is on the rise and the indoctornators other wise known as educators are worried that they are losing the race for the heart and minds of the those who are the most impressionable.

All the kids that the parent spoke to is blaming the teacher. Coupled with the lawyer blaming the teacher (since it seems the lawyer LEFT and then the teacher did her thing) I believe the kids and the lawyer. It also seems that some students were selected to write this which makes me ask if that is the case why where students selected while others were not? It seems like indoctrination and persecution to me. Off with her or his head.

Of the first ten amendments to the constitution, we can only speculate as to which rights this teacher would be willing to "give up" in order to be "safer or more secure". Free speech? Freedom of religion? The right ot bear arms? Freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures? No cruel and unsual punishments? The right to due process?, etc. Come on teacher, tell us.
I've long since lost whatever respect I once had for public school teachers, they all appear to be half-educated, leftist buffoons.
The Third Amendment seems to be the only safe one.

This is a huge story in Florida where I live. This on top of the stories about the the description of conservative versus liberal descriptions of personal freedom at a school elsewhere and the USC professor, the indoctrination program is getting the exposure it deserves.

I found many of the comments after that article to be frightening. "..be prepared to give up some of your Constitutional Rights for safety..." was the pervading theme.
I live in England where all of our civil rights have been taken away by successive Socialist governments (the latest is no better). The possession of firearms is forbidden to all, save those very brave few prepared to undergo a YEAR of examination, questioning and unannounced home visits by the Police. No handgun of any description is permitted. Rifles of any calibre are strictly limited and you have to be a registered farmer or a member of a gun club (for at least a year) before you can own a shotgun
Our government has removed all possibility of any form of reasonable resistance to the encroachment of the state on our lives. Over 200 State bodies now have the right of warrant-less access to our homes, it is a criminal offence to refuse them access.

We've put government in charge of education- did we actually expect that it would meet that responsibility with any honor?
The policy spewing forth from Washington reflects contempt for the constitution and we've willingly ceded our childrens' minds over to them to shape to their liking so looking at individual teachers strikes me as missing the forest for the trees.
