  Okay, let's replace the term "United States" with some actual names. Saying "United States" does not mean you and me. Considering the actual decision-making people behind that term, and their decision-making record in the recent past, especially in the Middle East, I do not summarily accept that news as a bad thing.

  "The United States" (Jimmuh was president at the time), "aided" rebel groups in Afghanistan back in the late 70's. How did that work out in the long run?

• So let me see, because Obama is a spinless coward with No clue what to do in the middle east, he sent millions to train Syrian rebels to fight Assad, and now the Russians moved in, because Obama is stupid, and Russia "says" they want to bomb ISIS but instead bombs the rebels we gave millions of dollars in equipment to, so now ISIS can take that equipment too.

  If you ever need a definition of a ClusterF*ck, this would be a textbook example. President shit head strikes again, Oh and then he sent in Sir Ketchup (who is dumber than dog shit and a coward in his own right) to tell the Russians to let us know when they are bombing so we don't have an "accident"....

  • Not sure I'd consider anything Assad says as gospel truth. He has his own agenda to stay in power, no matter the cost. The entire ME has been a disaster zone since Iran fell to he Ayatollah. America wasn't resoonsible for that!

        • 1. Putin also understands that he has a gazillion of them living next door. It's a viewpoint we can only read about here, and never really know what it's like. Even American Jews, who you would think would have some sort of connection with Israel, have some fairy tale view of Palestinians.

          2. Look at the article - "...news came from a senior US official ..."; "another defense official said ..."; "according to some sources ..." , and let's remember who is running DC now. We believe nothing that comes out of this administration, but all of a sudden, when it concerns Russia, we should take it all as The Truth?
