One of my daughters friends is VERY gay, and when he starts that crap, she cuts him right off. None of us can stand it and won't tolerate drama from anyone, regardless of sexual orientation. Its annoying and childish. ( OMG!! I sound like Olivia! GASP! SOB!)

Wow! That was harsh, & it was funny. But lets be honest here, gays want "gay marriage", fine, whatever. They should suffer from the same sh!tty divorce laws as everyone else does. Plus, we all know someone involved in a messy breakup with alot of bad blood. Think about how emotionally unstable & pissy gays tend to get when they don't get their way. They can be the most angry, vindictive people who will cut your throat when they feel wronged, & a gay divorce court could be a dangerous place compared to what we have now, outside of the all too common abusive relationship that comes up today.
Bottom line, gays want marriage, they should have to go through the same crap everyone else does when they divorce. Plus, I want HONEST reports about stats involving gay marriage. For better or for worse, so to speak.
Yeah, I've always felt that if they want to "join society", they have to do all of it. It's not a cafeteria plan, where we can choose laws that suit us -- we have to observe the laws and respect their intent.
That means that property laws, divorce laws, alimony, and sexual harassment laws all have to be respected. However, that is not desired -- I recall a Republican Congressman trying to make sure that the harassment laws were applied evenly was labeled a homophobe. Face it, it isn't right to let them have their cake and eat it, too.

Don't they have to pass a Gay Marriage Bill first? I love it. First there is Rosie O'Donnell saying she didn't REALLY get married in San Fran when her "wife" asked for spousal support. She just went through the motions to "prove a point." That just showed me that she didn't take it seriously to begin with.

Wow... they haven't even legally gained the right to get married everywhere yet, and they are already moving on to ways to break the marriages up. But I suppose it makes sense, can't have marriage without divorce these days. And after all, it will be nice to finally have an out next time I get smurf-faced and marry some cute cabana-boy named Tito.
What about the sanctity of marriage?
Well heterosexuals have pretty much killed that already. But this is what happens when only a few states allow marriage and the others don't. A divorce becomes a huge legal nightmare.
