I am thinking about doing lessons in socialism to commemorate my recent trip to my country of birth is anyone interested in that?

LESSONS IN SOCIALISM
The People are still dealing with centuries old disease that should have been eradicated by now. Nationalized healthcare is worthless and Government has obviously been ineffective in controlling it . The People are so nasty and complacent and always looking for the Government to be the solution that they don't do anything themselves to fix the problem, so another century from now no one with sense will be surprised when the same disease continues to kill people left and right. The Government cannot tell people to be hygienic unless they FORCE people to be hygienic through punitive laws and taxation, but they can't do that because The People will not support The Government that forces them to do something for their own good. The Government needs The People support so they do the minimal and hope the problem goes away at some point. The People believe it is The Government's job to take care of the problem without The People doing something to help themselves, so they continue to be nasty and to live nastily and then continue to wonder why children are dying of the terrible disease and blame The Government for not doing enough. Vicious cycle ensues.
In Summary: The Government does enough to keep The People's support, The People's dependance on The Government prevents them from taking care of themselves.
Socialism is a vicious cycle of nastiness and death... YaY!
Didn't David Dinkins try virtually the same thing. He nearly broke NYC, and this fool will break it. Hell all the businesses that can are packing up and moving out of NY and NYC just as fast as they can. When Wall Street figures out that they can conduct trading on a virtual floor. Why stay?

Give deBlasio a map of the USA with no state names on it, and see if he can point to Iowa.

Remember that most of the country does not exist to the likes of DeBlasio and the left. There is only the DC, NY Boston Corridor and loony wood. The rest is just this large area to avoid at all means.
I grew up in NJ. As a little kid, we went into the city often (compared to most in out town), half to a dozen times a year. For many years i was there a few times a week. I knew a lot of people there. I lived in NYC for a couple of years right before and after getting married.
There's an old saying about NYC-ers, that is absolutely true:
To a New Yorker, the world is divisible into 3 parts - 1. New York. 2. the rest of the country, and 3. the rest of the world.
We get the government we deserve when we aren't even motivated enough to get out and vote. Elections have consequences and as long as we send gutless, spineless, limp-wristed, pale pastel, left of center Republicans to DC, we get what we get. Do not believe a thing that comes out of a politicians mouth, unless it can be verified by the candidates actions. You aren't what you say you are, you are what you do! We're so happy to hear someone articulate conservatism and constitutionalism that we forget to find out if they are actually conservative constitutionalists! I know this doesn't seem to have much to do with DeBlasio, but had more New Yorkers paid attention to what was going on in their city, well before this, DeBlasio could have been defeated. If you look at New York City's political history, you'd recognize that the stink of Democrat Party politics has been all over this city since the 1800's.
Put a fence around it, make it a prison.....just like in the movie..
It'll be just as effective as the border fence, probably just as complete, and built by te same people.

New Yorkers are always miserable. I just hope it gets worse. I shouldn't have any trouble at all staying out of that miserable rathole, even though I'm going near there next summer on my charity tour.
I just don't like them trying to make everyone else just as miserable, a là Doomberg.
No, New Yorkers are not always miserable. They just live in a city bubble. It ain't for everyone, but for some people, there is nothing better then city life.
Because they live on the dole and have everything handed to them. They don't even need a car to get to anywhere. It's all been made too convienient for them.
Socialism is a wonderful thing until you run out of someone Else's money! so the so called liberalism that this clown subscribes too is to take from those who produce and give to those who sit with their hands out, awaiting their rightfully deserved entitlements? WOW! no wonder he was at the white house, that is how barry has spent his entire life!
