  • Speaking of ice ages and glaciers, I recall something i heard from a tv news anchorette that goes to show how they will read anything that shoved in front of them, as long as it agrees with their fixed ideas -

    A short report about some glaciers in Alaska and how fast they are receding (this was abt 10-15 yrs ago). The press release ended with "This could be an early sign of global warming."

    I thought "Really? And here I was thinking that the early sign of global warming was when the glaciers receded from the Ozarks!"
