Dem Senator who blasted MF Corzine at hearing was snubbed for campaign $$$. Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) rightfully blasted MF Corzine at the hearing: “This isn’t the Dark Ages,” she lectured. “MF Global didn’t keep their books with feather quills and dusty ledgers.” Now, MF’s cronies are trying to mitigate criticism from a fellow Dem by accusing her of seeking revenge. Well MF, that may be true but you’re the one who lost the money, ain’t you?

Hey gimme a break. I'm practicing my liblogic. Isn't that pretty much the standard sort of lib response to any accusation? As long as you start it with "what about..." you can put pretty much any accusation after that. One can just as well say, "Oh yeah? well what about Newt leaving his wife?" The whole point is to deflect and change the subject.
So when they say it's all about revenge because someone felt snubbed, we're NOT supposed to keep at them about the money. We're supposed to follow them onto the other argument.
