• Of course they do.

• It's real life "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"...John has been taken over by one of the pods......and will become nothing more than slime on the floor.....

• I hate people who don't have the conviction of their beliefs enough to call themselves what the hell they are...Progressives, Commies, Socialists, Nazis, Maoists, Fascists, Liberals, Statists...Democrats! McShit is a progressive, hence he's at least a Socialist, by definition and that makes him a traitor to the Constitution and my enemy. He and his ilk should be strung up and flung over the side of the Golden Gate Bridge...help chum up the bay a little...Lefties love to feed aggressive, wild predators, (the Great White Sharks that patrol the Bay), even if they won't eat anything with a face!

• Politically, he used to be somebody, but now he's all about getting praise & affirmation like a dog looking for treats.

• McCain recently said that he would have a hard time knowing who to vote for in a 2016 matchup between Hillary and Rand Paul. Really? Paul may be the most outside the establishment candidate to have a serious chance to win the presidency in quite a time. It may get ugly for him. When he ran for Senate here in Kentucky, his opponent tried a little bit of nastiness against him.

  Much as I am not a fan of McCain, with him as president, there would be no budding persecution of people of faith and fewer liberal judges among so many other things. I want very conservative Republicans in the primaries, but once it's general election time, I do my best to stop the liberal and the damage he will do. I had my disappointments with the Bush presidency, but he used some vetoes and said "No" to sizeable parts of the liberal agenda.

• If this is the face of the modern Republican party, we are all screwed.

• It's as predictable as sunrise. After spending way too much time inside the beltway, McCain will still think the applause is a desire for or show of bipartisanship on the part of the fascists. Even losing the 08 election did not sink in. In the years leading up to the election, he kept reaching and reaching "across the aisle" and was applauded for it by the MSM.

  And what happened when the election came along? (hint: it's as predictable as sunrise) the MSM skewered him as if he was Quayle or Palin.

  Did he learn anything? OF course not. They are not applauding him because he is being bipartisan. They are applauding him because they know people like him wll

  a. come to the forefront, but never win a national election, and

  b. create schisms within the Republican party.

• Notice how quickly Mac and Lindsey got press to denounce the Russians granting assylum to Snowden today? These media whores need to all shut up and let the democrats take point on this. Let the president explain what he plans to do now that they have his "hacker." Alas no, the rinos will jump up and take center stage allwoing the press and the administration to associate the Republican party with the whole thing. Outsmarted... once again.

  • I agree with everything in your comment and wanted to show you something I caught while skimming earlier today. Taken by itself it's not much but added to everything else we know about Sen. Linda I think it's telling.

    • Truth is, Putin doesn't respect obama simply because he is black. Funny people those Eastern Europeans. they don't sugar coat a damn thing or apologize for thinking the way they do. You should hear their opinions on Jews...

• I think we dodged a bullet in 08. I'm confident that McCain would have signed any and all of the legislation Nanzi and Hairy put out and the republicans would have had to go with it too, for unity with the preezy. Then conservatives would have stayed home and 2010 would never had happened. Both houses would be under donk control with even bigger margins. Perhaps veto proof control and the shit would have really hit the fan.

  But there were those magical months where he pretended to be a conservative while he was being primaried.

  • The truth of the matter is we weren't going to get ANYTHING good that year. Either way were were going to be screwed. We may as well get the worst of the worst now, a truly incompetent and disastrous President in hopes for a Reagan or Washington or someone of great caliber to take over next time.

    • Exactamundo. As long as the country is being spent into bankruptcy and getting more totalitarian by the day, the Democrats should at least be getting the "credit" for it. In Kalifornia, Arnold (aka Kennedy by marriage) gave the Donks cover for raping the state with little blame going on their backs.

    • Frankly I see McCain, like Romney, Boehner, Christie, etc., as being nothing more than pantomime opposition whose main purpose is to pacify grassroots conservatism with the illusion that they have a voice- which in practice only enables the progressive agenda- which has shown itself to include the incremental criminalization of true conservatism. The longer we sit on our hands and allow it to continue unfolding the more difficult it will be to repair the damage being done.

      • Anytime a true Conservative like Rick Santorum, Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich, or Herman Cain pulled ahead in the primary all hell would break loose with the liberal media, and even the Republican elites and talking heads calling them the greatest threat to our government. Well it's true, they are a threat to our progressive government. Until the voters wake up and realize we need a conservative government this country will suffer. I hope the damage hasn't gotten beyond repair.
