I'm 100% for helping those in need and 100% against subsidizing those in greed-
The more people are dependent on a government the less likely they are to vote against that government. Obama and the Democrats are well aware of this truth and they are willing to spend the nation into bankruptcy to ensure their reelection.
BTW: Republicans have been guilty of this too.
Unfortunately, this doesn't take into account the dependency of big time crony capitalist companies like Solyndra, Fisker, GE, GM, etc. "Hey, we're making solar panels in China... how about a subsidy and/or tax break?" Dependency.
