Feinstein also said the prevalence of post-traumatic stress disorder in some military veterans is a concern.
“The problem with expanding this is that, you know, with the advent of PTSD, which I think is a new phenomenon as a product of the Iraq War, it’s not clear how the seller or transferrer of a firearm covered by this bill would verify that an individual was a member, or a veteran, and that there was no impairment of that individual with respect to having a weapon like this.”
If she’s so appalled by hunting humans we’d also like to know why the DHS is buying billions of rounds of ammunition, armored vehicles and why the Army was going to practice martial law tactics in Utah.

THANK YOU! The name keeps changing, but we have had PTSD in the armed forces pretty much as long as there have been armed forces. I do wonder though, at the apparent increase over the last few wars. I don't remember a whole lot of craziness from the WWII folk with battle fatigue. Maybe just better publicized now? Or are they nor receiving the community support they received before?
I don't think they dealt with it as well after WWII -- there was an awful lot of alcoholism and suicides afterwards -- people like Audie Murphy come to mind.
She ever hear of something called Shell Shock? Battle Fatigue? Every generation has their own name for it. However, every war has it.

Yet they are not a danger and are dealing with the affects of what had to be done in order to come home. For her to attack them and deem them unfit is out of line. She is the one unfit to serve as a US Senator.
