• Here is what I'd like to know.

  1. The past 2 days all I've been hearing is the talking heads and their doctor shills telling us that this is only passed by bodily fluids like blood and that someone next to you with Ebola who's coughing is not a problem.

  2. If so, then why the F is everyone you see handling Ebola patients covered from head to toe in bio-suits?

  3. Why the containment on the flight back for the two US doctors?

  • Yeah, and how did two American medical professionals, covered in bio-suits like you say, catch the virus? Did they forget for a second and drink someone's blood?

• From what i've heard this disease makes you bleed to death INTERNALLY. It sounds kinds painful. I'll pass. Please don't bring your disease to my neighborhood.

• The media is keeping it quiet... however, chagas disease as well as other tropical diseases are causing an epidemic here in the USA... why? because of illegal immigration. People coming here sick and no one knows because they are not being controlled at the borders or even at airports. People overstaying their visas or simply jumping the fence or swimming here or getting here on jet skis.

  We are seriously doomed as a nation. We keep making all these stupid decisions or stupid decisions are being made in our names. They should be contained and treated over there and his and hers family should be treated and contained over here.

  I know a Doctor on TV stated that with containment procedures and with the treatments available it is possible to help them and get rid of the disease and that the reason why most people die of Ebola is simply because of lack of treatment and care and due to unsanitary situations that in a First/Second World countries is not an issue. We will see, but I feel that they could have treated them over there even if it meant sending over necessary equipment for them to do so.

  • Treatment is not complicated. This is from an article I just read: "There are no proven treatments, no proven vaccines and there is not likely to be one for at least a year, even in the best case scenario." So, basically, give them fluids, hold their hand, and pray. Seems like you could do that in Liberia just as easily as Atlanta.

• I keep waiting to wake up and find it's all been just a long, bizarre nightmare, and McCain, with all his failings, is actually in the Oval Office.

• How inconvenient for the CDC, which has had it's problems lately(anthrax, small pox), but not to worry; His Majesty the President will issue an executive order canceling the planned amnesty for the Ebola virus.

• It was on route to my wonderful state of Minnesota, until that person died before they got here.

  • If there was a patient headed to Minnesota, that must be the other one. Two American doctors caught the disease and were being flown back to the U.S. I feel bad for them, but flying contagious Ebola patients to a country and continent that has never had a case of Ebola is just about the stupidest thing I've ever heard. These idiots are just asking for a worldwide pandemic.
